I have lived in Mareeba and moved to Canberra and ironically came across someone who was an ex employee of the Steggles factory (discussing the weather!)I mentioned places and he said he worked up FNQ, I said Cairns and when he said Mareeba, my ears pricked up because I worked in Mareeba.He mentioned the Management was new and articulate. I don't know of this person but his words, and of his wife, were impressionable. I am working at a company in NSW that have values but seem to lack support for their staff,so I was interested.I am writing this to compliment a decent Maintenance Manager at Mareeba , with an accent he said, and respected the workers and always went above and beyond. Very talented and knew what he was doing. Goes above and beyond a decent down to earth bloke". We should have more people like this and I believe we could do with better people like him by the sounds of it.Karen Davies"
