Dolce & Salato

No wonder this restaurant was full of customers for a traditional Italian breakfast. Cosy aircon, clean and nice environment. Most of all the staffs are friendly, and the Italian foods are good too. I enjoyed the breakfast with a glass of Long Macchiato. I waited untill most outdoor customers are gone before I took the photo. What a long wait, haha.

I’d like say say a massive thank you to the chef David, for creating this beautiful cake, for my Mother-in-laws wake.It was the star of the table setting & loved by everyone!His professionalism, advice & understanding was second to none!!I will certainly be using Dolce & Salato for all of my future functions.

It was a muggy, cloudy morning in late March. The Aussie Nationals were on and as I drove down Hampton Road toward Coogee I had little idea of the 15 minute detour through Hammy Hill I was about to endure. But all of that was all ahead of me still. I pulled in to Dolce and Salato as I do most weekends, looking for a coffee, a couple of rolls for lunch and something to tide me over until then. It was early and the place was quiet except for a few regulars. The coffee was hot, the waitress was attentive and my food was prepared in no time. I sipped my coffee and headed down the coast. I decided to wait until I arrived to sample my large beef Arrancini, a breakfast favorite of mine. Although I was looking forward to it, I wouldn't say I was excited. I've had my heart broken before, and today i had no expectations. When i removed it from the paper bag, however, i knew that i was in for something special. The just-the-right-amount of crispiness, the golden brown outer texture. I smacked my lips. Inside, it was warm, oozing with deliciously melted cheese and bolognaise. The ratio of rice to the good stuff was absolutely spot on. While I ate it I contemplated the many arrancini I have ingested over the years and came to the conclusion that yes, this was by far the most scrumptious and perfect one i had ever tasted. Then, satiated and content, i typed this review. 10/10

I usually don’t rate low stars but this time I really had a bad experience. The products are amazing, great pastries and savoury Italian snacks but the costumer service is terrible.Went down today for a quick pizza and the Italian lady serving was super rude, you could definitely feel she had enough working for the day (or she doesn’t like her job?)Not recommended

The service I received today was shocking from the severs and a WORM in my roll. I have been going here for years but no more.. Yes you’re busy every one gets that! But the way I was spoken to was disgusting by the larger female server. I asked for sundried tomatoes as there were no Rolls with that. That was a hassle for her to get this - the look and tone was disgusting and she tried to give me plain chicken not schitznel. This took a while to get so meAnwhile I asked another server to get the rest of my order -attitude ‘isn’t someone else serving you’. I paid and then the larger server started yelling at me in front of other customers you didn’t pay for sundried tomatoes . Well you should have charged me when you rung it up, me These two servers don’t deserve to have a job.Customers are treated poorly and how dare you ask for extra!! I had enough of this service at the south Fremantle store and today I told them. If you can’t be civil towards customers don’t work there as we do not have to put up with this. On top of that I had a worm in my roll.

Amazing place. Huge range of sweets.My hubby had the chocolate eclair which was delicious.I had the mini pistachio cannolo & mini fruit tart. Scrumptious.Everything was so fresh. Coffee were hot & good quality.

We stop by in the arvo for Coffees, custard doughnut and gelato our first it was our first visit here. The service and what we had was delicious.

The ice cream are really good, but you need to change your closing time to 15:30-15:45, and if you are going to start putting tables and chairs away and mopping around your customers, then you should stop selling products to consume in your local
