Lot quite than Maroubra or Little Bay Beach's great for kids swimming.

Frenchmans Bay Reserve
A quiet inlet of land with gentle rolling waves and soft sand to walk on. Plenty of tables and BBQ facilities for any dining or picnic plans. Lots of grass, a soft lawn and shaded areas to relax to the sound of waves crashing and a gentle breeze, close to the offerings of La Perouse.

Quiet beach and kids playground to enjoy the afternoon with your family. Good for picnics. Has bbq spots. Ok for fishing. Parking may be an issue sometimes

In Frenchmans Bay there was 1 or 2 beaches.It is near Port Botany.You can enter Bare Island.Also planes go above your head .If you forgot to get food you can get it from the few restaurants nearby.Fishing is allowed.The way you get to the reserve is to go by M5 if you live in Western Sydney.If you came from somewhere nearby to the reserve you can just walk or get bus/train.If you live somewhere else then the best transport is train.It was a great experience at Frenchmans Bay Reserve.

Great for the locals only, minimal parking and small public toilets. Lovely spot but if it’s a great day you’ll need to catch a bus or go somewhere else.Gosh and chips near by and a large restaurant but not many options.

Nice beach, clean public toliets near by. Decent sized grass area to rig wing/wind sails and a short walk to the beach.

Frenchmans Bay Reserve
Our kids enjoyed swimming here due to calm waters. It's a very busy beach with limited toilets, also parking so you have to come early. There were broken glasses on the sand, which is dangerous. It would have been a great family beach if it weren't for this.

Has a selection of restaurants to suite your taste and wallet. Relax and swim in the unprotected bay while watching plane arrive and leave at Kingsford Smith Airport.Two Seafood Resturant (Danny's both upstairs (upmarket) and (downstairs casual and takeaway) have closed as hasParis Seafood butin its place another Seafood fully renovated Resturant has opened up for more formal dining accross the road an offshoot of the same with exceptional views, food with clean Rest rooms inside. La Perouse is a wortwile visit to put on your must visit list.

Beautiful beach, nice Cafes with great views.Nice walks near Bare Island with spectacular water views.Come early on the weekend, it is very popular
