Great local chemist, always friendly and helpful with wide range of health/lifestyle products as well as reliable prescription services. Also just far enough away to be a good fitness walk for me when I need to restock my medications :)

Caring local business, with great customer service.Bob's Chemist is also a DHL parcel drop-off point, I cycled there with a heavy parcel. Unfortunately, there was a problem with DHL and they needed to be contacted. The lovely Adriana behind the counter took my parcel, so I didn't have to carry it home and back again, contacted DHL for me, and rang me the next day to let me know all solved. So kind and caring, superb customer service.

I have been a customer of Bob's Chemist Newtown for many years. There are so many chemists on King St, Newtown I often wondered how they all survive in such a small area together. With Bob's Chemist the answer is plain and simple - The staff that are employed there continue to go above and beyond what one would expect from a retail store. The stock range is brilliant, the prices are well within' a reasonable price point when you take into consideration the amount of competition they have. The owner of the business always has time to have a quick chat to all of his customers to give them that special feeling of being not only an important part of his core customers, which obviously has ensured return business for him. It's also so refreshing to be able to walk into the chemist, hand over your prescription or whatever the purchase may be and then NOT be given a plastic flashing disc and told to basically go away until this disc buzzers or flashes a la Chemist Warehouse who I would strongly recommend keeping away from at all costs! Bob's Chemists is an Australian owned and run family business and should be supported by all members of the inner west community. Next time you are in Newtown and need something from a chemist - give them a go! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. It truly is a wonderful shopping experience - every time.

Very rude pharmacist (tall,black hair male) I've been to this chemist before, I'm local, and used to find it very convenient but since my last experience I'm not going back. They messed up with my records in their system and then the guy blamed me for not knowing my own surname apparently! Unbelievable

I cannot fault this business. Staff and management are top notch! It would be difficult to find friendlier, more helpful people anywhere. Great inventory of relevant products and prices are extremely competitive. Don't expect to see Bob when you visit, but Amine and his team will make you feel welcome.

I just have to say that Bob's chemist has by far the best pharmacist in town, Amin has been so helpful and informative with the medications that have been prescribed to me, he warned me against a one specific medication that was prescribed by a doctor and he was right, and thus saved me the hassle, and ever since a lot of time and money.Highly recommend, thank you!

Went in here today. They didn’t have what I needed. But the pharmacist was really polite and took the time to talk me through what I needed and where I could get it. So refreshing to meet a pharmacist that cares and is honest, even when they’re not making a sale. I will be back, just because of the great attitude and service. Thanks.

Staff are super helpful and fantastic customer service. Was really amazed at the level of service they provide, they keep you updated on your orders and very diligent. Definitely recommend this Chemist to anybody in the area.

the staff here are amazing. HONESTLY 4 someone that has 2 rely on medications I've NEVER felt so comfortable about my mental illness.basically I'm saying THANKYOU 2 everyone that works@ Bob's.
