Johnny's Furniture Helensvale

Delay, Excuse, delay…put a deposit down and subsequently made payments for Davenport lounge suite in January 2023, was told 6-8 weeks. Was also told it was being shipped from Melbourne. Had no correspondence during that time this happened again and I was told let march early April, then end of march- was told end of April beginning of may. Assistant manager downplayed all conversations and one employee tried to say “if it makes you feel any better, I waited 6months for my bedroom suite.”The staff are sh&” plain and simple.I opted to get a full refund, then was told only $2000 a day could be made per store by a manager. Was then told to come back the next day at 12 (when this manager was on) and get the rest of my refund. I was back at 12 to be told I could only get $1400 as there had already been a refund that morning. This was only meant to be done by a manager so he said and he started at 12??….so the third day I finally got the last of my refund. I was also told by this guy that he had “called” neighbouring furniture stores and they had nothing … and he asked me “are you sure you want to cancel your order because there’s nothing available “?….i was able to buy and have delivered a lounge from the neighbouring furniture stores, 3 days later of the same value and just as large.Had I read reviews prior I would have never bought through them in the first place.There was no correspondence prior to any of the delivery dates, management needs an overhaul. Don’t know how they’re still operating. Negative 1 star. Absolute mockery

Never buy from this store, customer service is really poor and they are not honest peopleWe purchased a lounge set been promised we should have it by 10 weeks. After 10 weeks I rang the store and been told they haven't got stock and I should wait another 4-6 weeks!I went through hell to get my money back even that it was their fault. The store manager Makeila is unprofessional as well as Mitch the young assistant who was blowing some balloons and ignoring us the entire time we were talking to them to get our refund.We purchased far better set from Koalaliving for almost same money and thankfully didn't have to deal with poor costumer service as such and wait that long.Don't buy anything from Johnny's Furniture!

After much looking around various furniture stores chose to buy at Johnnys. Disappointed to be told there was a 4 month delivery period. The wait period is a major part of the purchasing decision so wish this had been displayed. I didn’t order and regret the time wasted

To be able to build your own corner lounge suite with a quick turn around on stock availability. I felt like a valued customer as soon as I entered the store. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased a number of pieces of furniture at the Helensvale store. Makealah was amazing very professional. She really took the time to understand what I was looking for and was able to help me find some treasures. I would highly recommend anyone looking for furniture reasonably priced and great quality to go and visit the team. I am looking forward to receiving my new pieces.

We sort of stumbled on Johnny's Furniture yesterday and wow! What great prices and service. Mikayla was great, she helped us with our purchase and was great to deal with. The prices here for the exact same item at another store in the same complex was around 35% cheaper. Hopefully our delivery will go as expected.

NEVER buy from this store. Purchased a lounge, organised delivery, waited all day then 10mins before delivery latest hour another 2 hours. Rang the store to understand why I have lost a days pay waiting and the manager Michaela told me it wasn’t her problem and they get a third party to deliver. She wasn't happy with me asking questions. I haven't even received the goods and the after purchase customer service by the manager was justsimply disgusting. This manager needs training and Johnny needs to advise customers a third party delivers their goods which they cant contact supposedly.

Really happy with the quality of furniture provided & the transparency with wait times. Although no one wants to wait for furniture, the communication from the start made it stress free.Makealah processed my order and was wonderful. Super friendly and approachable. Highly recommend.

Have purchased a Lounge suite from Johnny's furniture at Helensvale. Spoke with Asst. Manager, MITCH. He was attentive, polite, & answered several queries & therefore I decided to purchase after speaking with him. He is very knowledgeable & went out of his way to help me in the purchase. Would definitely go to him again.
