Bupa Hurstville

I wish to give my feedback about the consultant by name of Patsy at Bupa Hurstville store who has been serving me with passion and friendly services. I have been a member of Bupa of 40 years and every time I was well looked after by her since my English is no good and I need someone to help me go above and beyond and every time Patsy was willing to help me with patience and her best knowledge. It's not just one time, it was multiple times. Recently I have had my retina resection surgery and Medicare office refused to claim at the spot for me and Patsy was willing to make the claim online for me step by step which was from her caring heart to help me when I was so desperate for help. Her working ethnic and enthusiasm shows that she is such a good asset to her company. She constantly comforts me when I am at lost as I have no other friends to help me. I am nearly 70years old and her attitude in looking after senior people has to be complimented.

I have had very good experience with stephenie, she is just an amazing and helps her client in a pleasant manner with clear information.

Thank you Bhakti for your fast and excellent service. I won’t be greedy to give 10/10 for her service.

Thank you very much PATSY WAN for your warm reception, her professional knowledge was great, she was very patient, especially to the older people, and took the time to explain until we understood. I hope your company can have more employees like PATSY WAN. It is very reassuring to have her buy insurance in our company.

Over an hour wait for customer service. Was told it would be another hour to wait. So two hours to be served?!Staff then call people who are no longer waiting in the store (you add your name to a board when you come in) to come back and have their turn. If that’s the case, either tell people waiting you can do so (we hadn’t been in the store before) or have one policy that if you wish to be served, you have to wait in store. Or at least have someone intervene every 15 minutes to check what people are there for to tell them they may be able to leave their claim form in store instead of waiting hours for service!!!A smoother process is needed at this store.

Zack Chen is very accommodating and helpful. He will assist you with whatever inquiry or purpose you have. In the last three occasions that I went to Bupa, I was fortunate that Zack is always there to help me with my transactions. I’ve been wanting to write a review the first time he helped me but I was not able to get his name. Yesterday I went there again and he was so helpful and friendly. I would like to commend Zack for a job well done.

There was no greeting at this shop... Immediately after I entered the shop, I signed up the SMS notification and left the shop, very soon I received a message saying we are on the top of waiting list and we should go back to the waiting room to sit and wait. So we did that. However when we went back, there was SIX people in front of us!! We waited looooooong time inside!! Not recommend for this SMS service at all!

Terrible service. Upon entering the store we were serviced by Patsy. We were asked if we would prefer to converse in Chinese in English. My partner and I opted for English, however Patsy showed a shocked expression on her face and with much reluctance, serviced us in English. My partner and I had already done our research and knew exactly what we wanted, all we needed was to complete the paperwork and be transferred from our current health fund. Several issues arise during the consult:1) The staff member was extremely unclear when explaining the policies and rebates we were entitled to, thus making the consult very confusing. She was jumping from gold to silver and other moderate extras to everyday extras. I appreciate she was trying to explain them to us, but her communication skills made the consult very difficult and unclear2) She was unable to locate the health fund we are currently with on the system, thus the quote we were provided with on the day (in person) is not the quote we are being charged monthlyI do hope BUPA is able to provide staff with further training in customer service. Upon reviewing previous comments, I am able to see this is not the first time this staff member has had issues identified. Disappointing to see that management has not acted upon customer feedback. Or if they have, it has not been effective.

Haven’t experienced really really bad customer service ( and racism) in a long time and I don’t give a review unless it’s a good one. That is, until today when I went to visit Bupa at Hurstville Westfield. I was totally ignored when I went to sit down to wait my turn, thinking they were just busy, until the ‘’greeting’’ woman who wore glasses kept running to other people ( of Asian descent ) that came in to add them to the waiting list. When I enquired about the wait, she rudely pretended that she didn’t see me and added me to the end after others that came in after me. So, If you’re not of Asian descent don’t bother going there, go to another branch instead. Terrible and rude woman! Bad representation for Bupa Brand.
