My wife and I, enjoyed dinner, the atmosphere, loved the food presentation and taste.we had room service (Wyndham Resort) for lunch next day. Loved it

Tides at Airlie Beach
We were hesitated when seeing the previous low rating. Yet we were staying in this hotel and the recent reviews suggested they improved a lot, so we decided to give it a try.We ordered the seafood platter - turns out to be a good choice. The prawns and oysters are so fresh and sweet. We did not like fried fishes but they are so good at making it. It’s not greasy at all and the meat inside are also tasty.Highly recommend it!

This large open restaurant has a spectacular view of the bay and all the action down below..but none of the noise. Breakfast is between 7 and 9.30 so you have to be on the ball. We had drinks, snacks and then breakfast each day of our stay. Staff really vary in friendliness and professionalism but you're on holidays...so you can live with it! Place is clean and the pool is right beside the restaurant which is great for an afternoon treat. Not sure about making a visit up here if we weren't staying at the hotel..but it's a $6 cab ride from town so v easy. Full bar and cocktail menu make for something for everyone!

Stayed at Club Wyndham in Airlie Beach over the weekend. Had an absolutely amazing stay, but it was topped with dinner at Tides. I ordered the rack of lamb, and it was so delightful I didn't even look up from my dinner to talk to my other dinner guest. Cooked amazing and considering we were a table of five, the order came out very quickly, and it was so amazing!!

Cannot thank the awesome staff at Tides Restaurant for providing my family and I with a perfect Christmas lunch today. The service was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to take care of our every need. Looking forward to returning to Tides to enjoy their fabulous food!

Staying at Club Wyndham. We had the eye fillet main for dinner which if I'm honest was a little small for the price (IMO), but was delicious. Wife couldn't fault the food. Friendly staff with nice views of port Airlie. Also had breakfast there as part of accommodation deal.

A very special family occasion was marred by a drinks mishap. Accidents happen, but when you ruin a customers new clothes shoes and bag, one free drink and apology just doesn't cut it!My advice to the host is to make things right by offering a paid meal, to dry clean items and clean or replace damaged items.Garlic bread had no garlic at all! Meals overpriced for what we got, and one clear case of food poisoning, with myself who tasted from that plate also affected. Some side vegetables were so overcooked they became mush and table was not cleared of finished plates and glasses.We were gracious and polite toward our hosts purely so we didn't upset family members further, but after many good years with the previous business owner we won't be returning.

Food was very tasty. View is special. Staff were absolutely lovely. We also had a minor problem with order and they were very gracious and apologetic - went above and beyond to correct what really wasn’t a major problem in the first place. Food definitely worth the visit and the rest is just a bonus!

Stayed here previously but never ate in the Restaurant. Both meals were awesome. Rack of Lamb n Eye Fillett Steak.
