Sacred Place Family Day Care

We couldn’t be happier with Sacred Place Family Day Care. Our son has been attending for over 2years and has really benefited from Jake’s gentle Steiner approach. The ample outdoor exploration time, organic home cooked meals, and family setting suits our son superbly. He has developed some beautiful friendships and built his confidence while in Jake’s care. We highly recommend Sacred Place!

My children have indeed found a sacred space with Jake & his family. Confidence, friendship, & a special bond. Jake has a gentle approach to caring for my children, he is respectful open & kind & my kids respond to this. I can guarantee that you will experience much the same. It is really comforting to know that my children are in a place where they are respected, loved & cared for. I can feel comfortable when I drop them off knowing not only will their needs will be met, but they will be happy & have a great day.

We got to the Trugo Playgroup run by Sacred Place. Very worthwhile, our child loves it and we ( do the parents) do too. Nice combination of unstructured play and running around , plus a weekly themed activity. And who can resist a good old Aussie snag in bread for lunch? (Veggie option available)

Our girls love going to Sacred Place Family Daycare. They skip down the street on their way there and happily wave goodbye to me when I leave. Then, when I pick them up, their faces light up again, which shows me that they have had a wonderful day of play and learning while I was gone.I believe the lovely reactions of our children whenever we see or talk about Jake are testament to the fact that they are getting the kindness and support of a high quality educator who makes them feel secure.Jake is an excellent educator - he is so happy, peaceful and kind, and creates a lovely environment.

My daughter benefitted greatly from this beautiful family day care. The Steiner rhythm, organic home cooked meals and first class care provided the perfect nurturing environment for her early development. I couldn’t be happier with our experience and I would highly recommend them to any parent looking for something beyond the cookie-cutter approach to day care for their child. We still feel part of the family and my daughter still misses going there after nine months of school. It’s a special place.
