Unbelievable lack of management at Bunnings Balgowlah today, 5 staff greeting people at the front of the store but only 3 serving and 2 self service tills open. We were directed ti join the queue Snaking down one of the aisles - over 20 people waiting! Better leadership might help customers get in, get what they need, pay and leave more efficiently. Not very Covid safe keeping everyone queued up in a narrow aisle.

Great local shop, most of the staff are friendly and willing to help or grab someone with knowledges to answer your question, it depend on the day and the team on site.Great stock for trades & home handyman jobs. Painting section is huge.Always found everything I needed there from plumbing jobs, electrical or wood work not a problem they have it all.Well stocked most of the time, asked for a ETA when item is not in stock was not easy seemed like the stock comes when ever apparently.Plenty of parking & there is a cafe available inside, bathrooms as well.One downside is the check out experience, only seen open only 1 staffed register, 4 self check out that get cramped, you can also check out at the trade site and at the refund/service desk but it’s all over the place when it’s busy.

Typical mid-large Bunnings with parking. You need to find experienced store help - we rang ahead but couldn't get knowledgeable information. These stores could also do with clearer aisle contents marking, but you can usually get what you're looking for. Good for browsing too. The check-out is generally prompt.

Incompetent Staff. Rang to check stock of an air conditioner that is showing in stock on the website. The lady confirmed 3 were in stock and she even rang back after she checked with other staff and said it will be ready to pick up at the service desk when I get there. I was in a big rush and left work straight away to get it. Drove for 15 min and then I get a phone call to say sorry we stuffed up and there aren't any available with no explanation how this can even happen. Wasted a lot of time, money and petrol for nothing.
