This place has the best Indian food. From A to Z, every dish they serve is amazing. The service is excellent. After renovating and reopening from the unfortunate fire accident, I am so glad that they are back on their feet. A huge shout out to Hari for his amazing persistent over all this time. The food before the accident was also as good.Very happy that he’s back on his feet now and I would definitely recommend this place for everyone to give a try.

Wow! So fresh and flavoursome! I was keen to try a new good Indian place and decided to try Spice Mix and I'm really glad I did. The food was fresh and full of flavour, good meal sizes and atmosphere was great. Owner is very friendly and chatty and seems open to feedback. Definitely will be coming back.

End of an era! This place was my go to for good homely Indian food but as the restaurant has gained popularity post COVID, the taste and quality has really gone down.Update after owner's reply: My partner got it as a takeaway. The dish was Chetinad chicken which tasted like every other chicken curry on their menu. This isn't the first time this has happened. Have tried every other chicken dish on the menu and it's been the same experience. Never going back again.Regarding my taste, I am comparing your restaurant to your previous standards. So, do you mean to say you used to serve bad quality food around 2019-20?

It's a beautiful thing when you see a fantastic business re-open again. Spice Mix has been my go-to for authentic Indian curries for the last few years ever since I moved to Melbourne. The service is extremely friendly & efficient - always with a smile. My personal recommendation is their delicious & flavourful jackfruit curry for vegans & meat-eaters alike (the taste will win you over!). You will not be disappointed & will return time after time. Opens until late! :)

This is such a delicious place. We got the fish tikka, palak paneer and okra masala and all we absolutely yum. But the best was the garlic naan - incredible. The staff are friendly and give you recommendations - fab. We will be back!

The search is finally over. This is by far the most exciting, delicious, authentic and proudly fresh Indian cuisine I have ever tried in Australia.So grateful I discovered it.Don't waste your time with traditional bland spice joints - this place is the business.

You cannot get better flavours or fresher ingredients than the Spice Mix restaurant. We had the rainbow trout fried and the Tawa octopus. Amazing. Hari is the happiest and most gracious host and it's always good to see him. We always trust in his suggestions of what food works together and his wife Mamata creates the magic in the kitchen as well. We have been regulars for years now.
