We have just recently discovered this salon after a rude encounter with our usual hairdresser... Which was a blessing in disguise! These guys are so lovely, warm and friendly. We had our cuts done by Ange who was the most gentle, calming, caring, and knowledgeable hairdresser I've ever seen. I get anxiety and panic in a salon, but Ange made it such an easy and calm experience for me and did exactly what I asked for. My daughter has ringlets and Ange knew exactly what she was doing and advised us throughout every step of the cut. They don't over chat and make it a hyped up draining experience, it's all very personal and easy going. From the happy, inviting reception when we walked in, to the warm and cheerful goodbyes when we left, the experience as a whole was perfect - We will most definitely be going here from now on! Ange and Alia coloured, washed and trimmed my hair. I was very happy with the end result, the massage and wash was particularly lovely. Highly recommend.

It was a walk in appointment for a special occasion that evening. I would like to thank Lucy for doing a great job. I have fine thin hair and she curled and styled it perfectly. It stayed in all night.

Having recently moved to the Peninsular I was in search of a new hairdresser. In fact I had not been to a hairdresser since Pre Covid and was very apprehensive to cut my hair. Poppy was wonderful. She listened to my concerns and did a wonderful job with my hair. I will definitely be going back. Trusting someone to cut 6 inches off is a big deal, so glad I chose S +S.

My colour and regrowth have always been terrific here, 3 years of 3 weekly visits. However, after being talked into more foils and a cut I've been left looking like a stripey short haired badger..Not happy and not going back.

Ange totally transformed my thin super fine hair. I don't need to wear my hair in a ponytail anymore. So happy with the results.
