Great location, easy parking behind the shop in carpark, river nearby, bridge views, the location has it made. The food took a while to come, and both of us thought is was ok, but not top notch. Ice coffee was great though.

The place could do with a bit of a refresh, burgers were just average, though the hot chips were nice and of a generous serve. Nice location by the River, with ample parking available.

We got two medium chips for delivery here. When the food came, both bags were laced in oil and was absolutely disgusting. The chips were drenched in oil, and the bag was ripping apart when I tried taking it out. Absolutely disgusting.

Yummy fish and chips, perfect location too. We often kayak along the river and then come over for fish and chips in the park.It’s reasonably priced too, a seafood basket for two is $19.95 and there’s plenty of outdoor seating if you aren’t keen on the picnic.They are also efficient, friendly and a great place to eat.

I ordered fish and chips and chiko roll and requested less chicken. The Asian lady instead doubled the salt and gave me. When asking for a replacement she didn't help at all. The fish smelt really bad and the Chiko roll was old, hard to bite and burnt. Would never recommend or come to this place ever again. I would recommend spending $2 extra and eating at a better place.

The medium chips in the photo = quality for money. Great seating options that have shade. The burgers here are fantastic, big and juicy. Not overly expensive and is open late in the day, great after fishing. Highly reccomended for families wanting a big fish and chip lunch or burgers all round!!

Ordered Medium chips, 1 battered fish, 4 potato scallops. Chips all burnt and full of oil. Fish was so dry but burnt on the outside. The scallops were dust they were over cooked big time! Also received 3 not 4 scallops. Was not during a busy period. Was the only one there. Definitely not coming back.

Riverside Takeaway is okay for a quick stop. Food is okay & prices are reasonable. It took quite a long time to be given our food. Several other customers came & went whilst we were still waiting.

A geat beef burger in the Shire.The staff are friendly and helpful. BUT they are popular at lunch so don't expect super fast service. Good fresh food takes tineOnly 3 stars for atmosphere as it's a takeaway, not a restaurant. They do have chairs outside if you want to eat there.

Today I got a beef Hamburger with chips and a can of drink. I rarely leave reviews but this place deserves it. The hamburger was proper “old school”. Meat patty, bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato, beetroot. While the service was a little slow because they were busy, for me well worth the wait and I will be back again. I haven’t been here since I was a kid. Last week my guitar repairer recommended I go back and suss it out. Glad I didCheersSol.
