Had fish and chips fish appeared like it had been fried a few days ago and just warmed up as batter was soggy and thick. Fish was rubbery and the chips had no flavour at all. This shop used to be awesome now it seems they are cutting corners.

The flake was tiny, the chips were oily. And the hamburger ever the dog didn’t like it. Was once a great place, but now only seams to get worse ever time. I’d rather go without or go to Lancefield.

Disgraceful!!We waited quite a while for our small order..The flake was so rubbery it was impossible to eat.. even our dog wasn't impressed with it!! The potato cakes were hard and stale.Asked for chicken salt on the chips, definitely didn't get any.Everything tasted like it was cooked in very old oil.If I could give a rating of 0 out of 5 stars I would.. Very disappointing!!!I do NOT recommend this place and will not be returning.

Absolutely woeful. The “Deluxe Lot” burger had a beef patty (and I use that term very loosely) weighing in at laughable 48 grams. Tinned beetroot appeared to have been sliced in half, lengthwise to make it go further. If that is not dedication to being frugal, I don’t know what is. Never again. Garbage. Rip-off. You get the idea.

First time I ordered a flake/fish here the flake was rubbery and so hard I couldn’t even bite it, I thought I just got a bad piece of fish.Second time half of the fish was rubbery and I ate the good part but ended up with food poisoning.After reading some complaints at that time about the fish I thought maybe they would get the point and fix the issue.7 months have passed and I decided to give them another go, again the flake is so rubbery I had to throw the whole thing out. Dogs didn’t even want it. You expect people to pay $9 for flake/fish they can’t even eat. I will not be back here.Update: if you want good flake/fish go to Macedon Ranges Land and Sea. They just opened in Romsey and the fish is fresh every time!!

Purchased today. Potato cakes and misc items were all burnt. Chips were a bit over too. Fresh oil would definitely improve the quality.Partner said his fish wasn't great though. Disappointing as they weren't busy today.

Worst fish and chips we have ever had in our lives. Fish was rubbery and chewy and not edible. Just a waste of money. Rang the shop and complained but they didn't care. Would not recommend. Shop has gone down hill very fast. Shame as it used to a great shop.
