My elderly Mother rang me distraught today. She went for ONE test today and walked out on a $2000 payment plan for 2 hearing aids she doesn't even need!!! She told me she didn't think she needed them but didn't have the confidence to challenge it. Mum has NO problems hearing me over the phone, has her television down low and none of the family have noticed any decline in her hearing. I will be following this up. It seems that they have a tendency to take advantage of elderly women. Disgusting.

Please stop standing outside your shops asking people for a free hearing test. The man at Tuggerah asked my partner if she wanted one an when she said that she has a hearing aid an which she does I heard him reply oh yer sure an then he learnt she had one cause she heard it. What a disgusting way to conduct business it must be a terrible business that needs to harass people doing their shopping or a day out this mob are as vad a telemarketers.

Friendly, helpful staff. Was ready to sign up for $5000 hearing aids when my gut told me I need a second opinion. Was assessed by Hearing Australia and an independent audiologist, to be certain. The test results were the same, only that the other two advised I did not need hearing aids. That part of my hearing loss won't benefit. Basically a waste of money and unnecessary. Bay Audio will say you need them when you don't. The upsell to a more costly model was obvious. No testing booth. They look unethical and unprofessional! BUYER BEWARE....
