One of the best pasties ever.Flaky pastry that held together. I had black jeans on and hardly a crumb showed. Friendly staff.. As they say the best places are one back from the main street.

The custard berlina was the best I've ever had. It must have had half a litre of custard in it. YUMAlso vege pasty was sensational.As far as bakeries go it is a tiny bakery with limited seating capacity. The icing on the chocolate donut was to rich and speckled donut topping just fell off.Overall a good bakery.

Best bakery in Goolwa! We stop for lunch every trip to the area, which is usually every Friday for work.They make the most delicious meat & salad rolls & sandwiches and at a really good price!!I enjoy their Kitchener buns which come in two sizes - normal & small.Doesn't stock a big a range of cold drinks, however it is only a small shop. They do serve hot drinks though.There are a few chairs outside should you wish to sit & eat before travelling again.We used to go the Homegrain bakery in Middleton but have since switched to this bakery in Goolwa because the customer service is better & the prices are too.

Went in today for something as simple as bread rolls and was told, and I quote, we didnt get many breads in today." This implies products are not baked in store

Went at 8am for a loaf of white bread and they only had day old wholemeal and multigrain along with a packet of day old rolls. Bread is delivered, not baked in store.

Coffee was ok but the pies were very average and stone cold in the centre. Nice tasting vanilla slice although pastry was very hard, making it difficult to eat out of a paper bag. If you don't want the hustle and bustle of the main street it's another option.

The place is suited for breakfast and lunch. They have many choices of pie and chunky pie on the menu. We arrived around 12:45pm and there are only 3-4 choices/types of pie left. The traffic of ppl coming into this small store is high.If you have a big family and want to sit in, it might be a bit crowded. There are only 3 tables, with 2-3 chairs for each table. Most ppl would take and go. We decided to take our picnic rug out and have our lunch under the tree opposite the store.Have fun.

Rude customer service, pies were squashed, coffee was cold and terrible. Only good thing about my service was the cream and jam donut was delicious.
