I pretty amazing spot, although when I was here there was an annoying generator running on the other side of the river.Definitely get up for the sunrise.Cell reception is low bars but consistent. You'll get one or two bars of 4G outside your RV.

It's a big open area,the nite we were stayed there were 25 vans ,,no water no power ,but it was great for a stop over

Only two stars due to the lack of water in river... Darling Pond it should be now... Very sad to see it so bad... Green n ugly.. Go to weir wall and lower side is empty..... drive into May's Bend pretty rugged.. Wouldn't go in in wet weather..lots of camp sites tho...get in early if you want a view..as not to many places on river bank.

Can't get to the river at the moment because of mud left from recent flooding, but a quiet enough spot not far from Bourke which has all the usual 'big' town needs and plenty of history to explore. The track in is a bit rough but fine for most vehicles, but will be slippery and boggy after any significant drop of rain. Perfect spot to chill for a night or 3!

Good camp spot.Can only just hear highway traffic.Top layer of dirt becomes very slick with slight rain.Easy access in dry, care needed when wet or recently wet.

Not to many camp sites, it's a shame council doesn't get in to mow/slash grass. Loads of burrs around, so check your dog. Would be an awesome place to stay for a day or 2 so you could sightsee around town. Just needs some TLC. We camped out on the road side
