Duffy's Automotive - Repco Authorised Car Service Tamworth

Went in to have the timing chain replaced just before Christmas. The start of a myriad of problems! Driving away, the timing chain seal malfunctioned and we ended losing oil from the car. 4 litres of oil needed to limp to Coffs Harbour. We had to hire a car to get to our destination. The car was towed back to Duffys, at their expense, and was told the throttle body would cleaned and gasket replaced. Instead of getting a new gasket, we discovered it not only the old gasket, which is still leaking, it has been glued up to prevent it leaking! This has made the o2 sensors fail and had to be replaced. Injector rail was loose and needed to be tightened. Left hand strut was loose,the valley not secured; bolts all loose, and still continuing to find problems. Although some compensation was provided, it was now insufficient given the poor workmanship discovered after leaving the site. I have photos to prove what a poor job has been done on this vehicle.

Just a Good bunch of blokes definitely go above and beyond... they've done some work on my pride and joy ba xr6t only place ill take my car now.. good honest prices and opinions professionalism is top NOTCH.. just down to earth blokes couldn't ask for better service.. GREAT BUNCH OF FELLAS.

Fantastic good old country service! We had a loose rubber pipe draging under the engine. Dropped in here on our way up to Qld and they confirmed my thoughts that it was just a water overflow pipe. It was quickly repositioned in seconds and we were on our way! They didn't ask for any payment either! Highly recommend these guys.

Pedders parts are great. The set-up isn't great.They will take your money even if they cannot fix your problem. And admit it. Just another scam that Tamworth needs. It cost me $500 for them to tell me they couldn't fix the problem and didn't know what it was, as they ran out of guesses. They even replaced some parts that I did about 4 weeks ago. That is fantastic! What a wonderful business.

Went there for the first time today to get a Major service on my triton. They listened to every complaint I had about the car, they called and discussed the issues in depth and took the time to make sure I understood everything they had done without making me feel like an idiot. Everyone I spoke to was kind and professional. The customer service was outstanding and I believe they did a great job on my car. It was also so much cheaper than I expected. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. very impressed and will be going back.

Great service from Brock and Ross, did take a couple of days to get the car completely sorted but when I drove it home I was well impressed. Will definitely go back there again thanks fellas. Best outcome I’ve gotten from a mechanics by far. Will recommend to others for sure.

Called today to some pricing for repairs. He was not only helpful with his recommendations on parts but his prices were the best by far. Very professional and pleasant manners. Highly recommended.
