I like to walk beaches at night or late in the evening. the sound of the oceans seem louder , air is fresh and the ocean and city lights etc are magnified. This beach is definitely one of the best in the coffs region.

Peaceful and not too overrun with tourists or bored retirees. Can be a challenge on parking on the street, walk a bit further and all good.

Beautiful place to visit.Town Centre is small but has everything you need.Great Pub or straight opposite the pub is the RSL Club.Lots of cafes for Breakfast and has a luvly Cinema that has movies to cater for all ages.Must do when there is to drive up to the lookout. I was gobsmacked with the nature walk nature at it's best.

Sawtell Beach
Sawtell is a lovely town with great cafes and restaurants. Has a beautiful headland for spotting whales and for swimming. On low tide you can wade over to the small island to have an explore.
