My partner and I bought some tea from another store and were walking past this place when my partner dropped her tea. The lovely lady who worked in this store happened to walk past us as this happened and offered to replace my partner's tea for free. And the tea was better than the one we dropped. Superb service from a local business. On another note, the shop smells fantastic!We were having a hard morning and this brightened our day. Thank you!

Without a doubt the best toastie and coffee in Melbourne. We go to Alison's whenever we can, she just does an incredible job. The fresh daily baked breads are out of this world too.

One of my favourite locals. THE most wonderful roast pork & crackling baguettes and reuben sandwiches. Love the Victorian honey and Green Eggs as well. Alison makes a fab coffee too. Alison personifies all that is good about local community. Well worth a visit!

A friend recommended the pork belly roll (with crackling, yum!) and it definitely lived up to the rave review. Absolutely delicious! And as a lovely little surprise, when the owner saw I was also an Alison, she gave me an Alison's carry bag! It's little things like this that can brighten a grey and rainy day! An excellent local business worth visiting!

Alison's homemade chicken aioli baguette never fails to give my day a boost. Lovely fresh bread here and St David's milk, with the added bonus of being dog friendly. Love popping in here.

Best pastries in Prahran. Alison has a variety of fresh homemade products and also delicious coffee. Such a warm and lovely neighborhood bakery! Can’t recommend enough, one of my favorite shops around.

How rude is the owner. We all came in bought alot of bread and sauces. My friend who is English like me and another Ozzie friend were looking around. Thought my friend was going to steal the bread. Then she used a few paper bags to cover each loaf. Then the owner shouted and told her off told her why she needed so many? So rude and racist. What a horrible woman! We will never go there again.
