I chose my suitable time for moving, and their services were very prompt. The Packers and Movers Melbourne removalists came on time early morning and completed everything by late afternoon.The removalists were very gentle with my possessions and did a great job of moving through the staircase. The bill was also very reasonable. I am very impressed with their excellent packing, moving, and unpacking services. I have also suggested Packers and Movers Melbourne to my family and friends.

We had a poor experience with Eagle Movers when moving house last September. Things didn't get off to a good start when the moving team didn't show up at the allotted time of 8:30am. I called after waiting for an hour and found out that whilst they knew they had a booking for me, they didn't know the time or place as it hadn't been entered into their system. The movers ended up being 2.5 hours late, arriving at 11am, and not once was I offered a discount due to the administrative error.Furthermore, I didn't have that much stuff to move and nothing particularly tricky, however, I found the movers pretty gruff, unpersonable and seemed to take exception to most things they needed to move. Once we arrived at the new address, they complained that they couldn't get most things up the stairs, despite the only thing I was worried about was the bed base (which they weren't able to move). They also took 4 hours to do a job that should have taken less than 3.I shouldn't have to coax professionals to just attempt to do their job properly. This was particularly annoying as, subsequent to receiving a new fridge a couple of months later, the person who delivered it did a fantastic and fast job, were in and out with minimal fuss within minutes.Overall, it made me realise paying more for better moving service is a better idea than picking the cheapest option.They did redeem themselves by not damaging anything and helping move stuff into certain spots.

I took the services from Movers and Packers Melbourne, and I am simply amazed by their quick feet and prompt service.I reached out to their customer care office and booked a time. They are really punctual and came as promised. From packing to loading, they took all the sweat! I can put my bet that they are the best movers and packers Melbourne might have! I am thrilled with their customer care service, where all staffs are very attentive to your problems.They took the utmost care with all of my office possessions, and there was not even a single scratch. All the devices, from computers to printers, were packed nicely. I am pleased with their work. The bill that they sent was also minimal and within my budget.I am planning to shift my home to Sydney next week. I have heard that they provide equally good interstate services, so I am indeed planning to retake their professional help. They took every precautionary measure in this pandemic situation, wore masks, gloves and shower caps. I will give them a full rating for the gracious services!

Extremely disappointed with this company. The movers were rude, unprofessional, pushed back on taking items I had confirmed and damaged walls and several items. Not to mention, I emailed a complaint, called several times and sent 3 follow up emails and no one has replied. To book the job though, responses were very quick. Do not use this company!

We had a very regrettable experience with this moving company. They demanded we pay cash and that we should pay for 5 hours, even though they were done in 4. They were really hard to understand and difficult to communicate with. When we said that we would pay the office through bank transfer, they repeatedly and aggressively badgered us for proof, interrupting the transaction and calls to the office. They refused to leave and said they would charge us for the time they were waiting. Their behaviour was completely inappropriate and disturbed us. To top it off, they damaged several items, only one of which we asked replacement of. They refused saying that we told the men to use whatever force required to get the item through a doorway. I simply told them that the item had come in that way without damage so it was possible. I was the one to stop them when it was clear that they were damaging the couch. They couldn't figure it out but put the blame on us so that they wouldn't have to replace it. The item was less than a year old and in perfect condition so we were extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The original moving time was 4.30pm they turned up at 10pm!I had prepared everything and sat it by the doorway all ready to go.The 2 movers were SO slow that they we didn't finish until 2am. I say WE because my friend and I helped to carry out more than half of the items to the elevator, and outside to the van. It was a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. I cannot emphasize how slowly they worked, and the amount of time they spent looking at and discussing items before touching them. I really expected more speed and efficiency from a pair of 'professional' movers from a company that deals with moves daily.My friend and I did half the work simply to help them hurry up.The whole experience was stressful and horrible.We both got sick from the stress and 2am rain. We were then sleep deprived as we had to wake up at 6am the next morning. I’m a teacher and cannot afford to be sick or take days off work.They were clearly trying to stretch time to maximize the hourly rate. The whole time they were speaking very loudly and laughing until 2am and I was ashamed and embarrassed they were making noises and disturbing the neighbours on my first day at such an hour.They asked if I was offered a discount for their lateness and they charging me for 4 hours, then changed it to 4.5 hours then demanded I pay them IN CASH right then at 2am.I was shocked and intimidated. with the whole experience. I said I didn’t carry cash and they can send me an invoice like any normal professional company would , yet they demanded I pay them right then and there. They wanted me to go to the ATM to withdraw the money and I felt unsafe with them pushing for payment and they wouldn’t leave the apartment. I was tired, uncomfortable and wanted them to leave.They called someone who gave them a bank account number and then told me to send the payment through that second.I went onto my bank app and one kept following me around my apartment as I moved away to keep my bank details private and he moved over and literally loomed over me making comments and watching everything that I did. I physically moved away again and he followed me again to look down into my phone and my bank account. I sent the money through and they took a screenshot. Finally they left and I had to go back the next day to get the other things they didn’t want to take and carried them down the street myself.I felt that the whole experience was unprofessional in efficiency, dishonest in hours worked and finished with a pressured on the spot payment. Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like that and it makes me wish I never made the call to hire movers.They didn’t even offer a discount for their 5 hour late arrival or the fact that I did half the work. I want to believe that this is a one off and that Eagle Movers is a respectable company and that the workers are efficient professionals, unfortunately this was not my experience last Thursday night. 4 hours for a small truckload of items is beyond excessive and they also changed the price to overcharge me on purpose thinking that I couldn’t catch all that they were saying. If I didn’t help out it would have taken them another 2 hours to finish the move which is highly unacceptable. I genuinely feel that I should be compensated or partially reimbursed for the payment that I made as the work was not done in a professionally or timely manner. The working time was unnecessarily stretched out to maximise payment and I had to do a lot of the work myself to hurry them up. I also do not appreciate the shake down and pressure to pay them in cash at 2am before I had the chance to see an invoice or talk to anyone from the company, as well as the complete lack of privacy I received in making the payment and being monitored in doing so. Not recommended! They were supposed at my place at 8am but I got a phone call at 8:10am to say that they were stuck in traffic. Which seemed unusual for that time of the morning on a Saturday? The movers did not arrive until 9am. Which is 50 mins after their phone call - about the time it takes to get from their depot to my house according to google maps.The two people that came to my place did not seem the most comfortable/ confident truck drivers - definitely not professional movers". I did live on a narrow street but as these narrow streets are common in Melbourne the ability to reverse down these would be essential. I have previously seen a number of trucks reverse down that street - rubbish truck does it every week. They also reversed into a power pole outside my house as they were leaving.I then followed the truck to my new place so saw when they turn into a petrol station to fill up the truck. I would expect that this would be done before or after my move had been made as I was told on the phone that I would not be charged any extra for refuelling and driving the truck back to the depot.While moving my furniture from the truck into my new house they dropped the corner of my solid bed base in the mud.The movers were quite unprofessional around the payment of the service. They did not know how much I was to pay to begin with. I am not super comfortable with doing a bank transfer to pay. They’re not transparent about payment options when the bookings are being made (I.e. cash only).I wrote an email to Eagle movers complaining of the service I received. At no point have they apologised for anything but they have offered a 10% refund for the service – although I am yet to see this refund so don’t know if I will ever receive it."

I will never use this company nor recommend them to anyone. The initial booking was great and I was left with confidence. However, when the two removalists arrived, I was told that all the furniture had to be dismantled first, because it had to be done in a particular order beds/tables first. So they waited till I dismantled everything (ie. mum with 2 kids in tow). It only got worse when at one stage i was told (not asked) to help one of the removalists while the other was on a break. Next, the brand new fridge was bumped into the door way, when I had to ask the removalist to wait until his peer got back, to not damage the furniture or the doorway. I kindly gave them each a bottle of water as it was a hot day. These were left behind our car on the road for us to clean up after the move. Language and culture were barriers I was willing to overcome, but disrespect and poor business, I could not overcome. The work dragged on as they arrived almost an hour post the 1hr expected time block of their arrival. So, as the job could not be completed in one day, we agreed to recommence the next day. Also, one of the removalists appeared to have a sore leg and it was their last job of the day. They agreed to send someone else the next day. I had also paid extra for the piano to be moved and a bigger truck the next day. However, the next morning. ie. 9am Sunday, a smaller truck arrives with the same injured removalist and no extra help for the piano to be moved. The first encounter was a stand off, they did not want to move any furniture, unless we brought it to the front gate as there was a car parked directly out the front of the house. The only parking was 2 houses down - a single fronted and a double fronted in Richmond, not much longer than a suburban driveway. I would have sent them away if I didnt have to return the keys to the agent the following day after the cleaners. However, i pushed through and got sheds, basketball rings, and remaining furniture to the front gate (after knocking on every single door of the strip on the street asking for cars to be moved, unfortunately, a visitor to the street had parked there). They refused to move the piano but with great torment, moved all the furniture to our new address. They expected payment on the spot, which I paid. I followed up immediately with the business owner that morning and relayed the entire experience hoping that they would make amends. He committed that he would speak to the removalists, who accepted the complaints raised about them. The owner also committed to refunding 10% of the total charge of ~$770, and i havent heard back from him since which was 2-Dec-2018.

A friend of mine was in a tassel when he decided to move from Melbourne (Victoria) to Sydney (New South Wales) because of his new job. He was looking for some cheap and good moving service as there were things he did not want to leave behind, as he already had a completely settled household. Some of the things were of nostalgic importance to him and had to be taken care of. I had past good experience with 1300 Eagle Movers for one of other family member so i suggested him.1300 Eagle Movers (Packers and Movers). 1300 Eagle Movers (Packers and Movers ) low-key saved him from an anxiety attack because of the move.I am impressed that they showed same commitment this time also and my friend is quite happy with their services. Packers and Movers did everything on time, they arrived early , handled all precious belongings with the utmost care and moved everything to the new address, all at a pocket-friendly rate.I have to say that if one must mention the best interstate removalists Melbourne, 1300 Eagle Movers ( Packers and Movers ) should be on top of the list. The only thing you had to do during the whole processis to give them a time, a location and the payment (along with basic instructions).
