We used McHugh for a 40th house party, hiring a few things like chairs, cutlery, eskies etc The online ordering process was smooth, post order communication fantastic, and accurate arrival times for both drop off and pick up. I've used Canberra Spits & Party Hire on a number of occasions and have always found Jordan and the the team to be really easy to work with! I was particularly impressed with how quickly they organised everything when I booked last minute for my event. They seriously have everything you could possibly need for any function: backyard birthday, wedding, christmas party, or otherwise. Couldn't ask for more!

Hired 7x Bar tables for our wedding on the 12th October. McHugh Hire was really easy to deal with and the equipment was very decently priced!We have access to a trailer so decided to pick them up and return them ourselves to save on costs. She was helpful and answered all my questions. The equipment that was provided was excellent, and they have almost everything you could need for the perfect party. I had a really good experience with Canberra Spits and Party Hire over the weekend, hiring a mini spit for my birthday party. The whole process was very simple and the staff were great to deal with from go to whoah. The ordering process was easy online, the communication from the office was first thing the next day to confirm, and the delivery and pickup drivers were polite and helpful.The product itself was top notch and the instructions were a piece of cake to follow. Really good experience and I'd thoroughly recommend these guys for your next event.I especially appreciated that I had the delivery booked for Saturday morning, but they had no delivery spots available so instead of me having to go and collect they delivered on Friday afternoon with no fuss.

Booked party hire equipment over 3 months ago for our wedding recieved the quote and replied as instructed to confirm the booking. Called to confirm today about not receiving any follow-up correspondence and was rudely told by the owner we no longer do party hire we only do cool rooms so call someone else.They could have atleast called to let us know that they where closing down their party hire company Would not recommend.Jordos cool rooms is the new business name wouldn't recommend them either.

The team at McHugh were fantastic. Really competitive prices and great service. We hired gear for quite a large party including heaters, glassware, furniture etc… and even though they were short on staff because of covid, everything was delivered and picked up bang on time, clean as a whistle, with clear instructions. Will definitely use them again and again.

Recently hired equipment for our engagement party on 4th August 2018, my experience was overall excellent. I placed my order online and was confirmed via phone call, which showed fantastic communication. The equipment which was ordered (please see photos), was exactly what I needed to complete the layout to our back yard party and further created a relaxing atmosphere. This I attribute to the variety of options available for us in equipment. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience as it was completely fuss free. I highly recommend to anyone this service as they had strong communication, quality service and product. Much appreciated!
