BP Fuel Station & ROAD HOUSE

Especially handy when you only have a BP card travelling out this way.Convenient with snacks and drinks handy to purchase.

Got there just as it opened in the morning and waited around for 20 minutes for fuel which I couldn't get any fuel. The owner couldn't get the pumps started some kind of problem I think. And the price of fuel was around 25 cents a litre cheaper in Roma

The BP is rundown and inside there is old stuff hanging around everywhere. It must have been a dream to work there in the 1960's - 70's. But now days the place need a lot of work. But is it, worth it the pot hole where everywhere. The ATM saw broken there is dust everywhere and the pumps were half turned off. the window were not clean and there was stuff on to floor. But in saying that, I love the BP food stop next to the Service station it was clean and the girl help me with a plate of hot chips and a coke. I am definitely going back I like BP and I love 98 fuel.20/01/2022 they only sell 95 / 91/ diesel. Oh" yes when I went too use the loo its BYO toilet paper."

New owners have opened the original Mitchell road house great selection of food and great hospitality

Picture does not show true condition. Actual eating place is no longer open. The only food available is from the small petrol station alongside. Food mediocre warm and coffee not good.

We were staying in the motel next door and this lovely Indian Family who are managing this station offered to share their dinner with me as I am Vegetarian/vegan and its always tricky to find food. Such generosity to strangers is fantastic . Thankyou for reminding me of the good in people

To be honest if I was anyone else I would give a much harsher review, but because of my personal experience here it will always hold a special place in my heart. It was just after me wife and I went through a messy divorce and my dog, rocky, had tragically been runover by a rogue motorcyclist (which my girlfriend INSISTS wasn't her...) and perished. I was in a really rough pach in my life, and I was just going out on a drive to try and collect myself and went here for gas. When I went in the building it was honestly disgusting. There was soda spilled accross the floor of the shop and the floor was so sticky that you could tell by walking on it. Thankfully though, the receptionist was very kind so I brushed it off. When I went into the bathroom I found a chunk of mold in a corner, but it wasn't just any old gas station mold, it was shaped like an among us imposter. When I saw it I was completely awestruck, there are no words to explain to you the utter delight the among us fungi cluster brought to my aching heart. Of course, I scrapped it off the gas station bathroom wall with me own hands and I still have it to this day. He has been there for me when no one else has. I keep him in a photoframe on my nightstand, I can't sleep without him next to me. I don't know what I'd do without my little sussy. I would show picture of him, but he's camera shy. I think about him everytime I drive by this fuel station.
