Gulfhaven Caravan Park

Caravan sites are very tight, no where to put grey water but it does have tv connection which is rare. Amenities are nice and clean also has a great fish cleaning station. Close to shops and the jetty. Definitely worth going to just let them know if you have a large caravan.

We were advised by locals that Gulfhaven recently changed owners, however this was our first stay so we can't comment on the difference. The facilities were very clean with an abundance of hot water and pressure that knocks your socks off! The sites were a little tight - our van is small so not an issue, but our neighbour was far too big for the site and took a large portion of both his site, and ours by asking us to give him as much space as possible when we arrived (after him). Regardless, we loved our stay. Port Victoria is a good base for exploring the Yorke Pen, yet there is also plenty to do on your doorstep in Port Vic (I dived under the jetty and spent 60 mins with a dolphin!) and the sunset from Gulfhaven is sensational (timed after a great meal at the hotel!). Quite honestly, why would you want to stay anywhere else?

Great views, well kept clean facilities, under new management continuing improvements. great people to deal with.Will be back again

Wow photos on website dont do it justice.Just spent 8 nights in a delux spa cabin called the Dolphin on the cliff. Spectacular 180 degress views from all windows of the jetty and ocean. Great swimming , hotel and a good base to expore the Yorkes.

Very clean and all the gear you need for a long stay. Gas stove and big fridge. Excellent views from the deck. Pub and jetty close by.

Sites tight, view great, resident dolphin at jetty, pub food ok, amenities clean. Nothing else here. don't go on weekends or pub hols. You won't get to sleep till after midnight & barking dogs will wake you at 6 am. Wonder if management asks how many dogs & breed when checking in. Just ok for 1 or 2 nights.

The cabin we had was old and outdated only a double bed. No single bed for our niece!!!!! Then they tried to charge us for her not happy. No a/c in the cabin just two small fans. Showers took a bit to adjust. Views were nice. Would we book again unlikely.

This park, according to a local, has become rundown due to poor management by a prior manager. The new/current management team are ticking boxes to bring this up to an improved standard.For us the sullage or lack of it, is the greater problem. It just means everything gets wet and dirty. Plus you could get flooded or flood others.Despite providing details of van size out travelling companions were placed on a site too small for the van. We should have been placed on the upper grassed area, making it much easier to get in and out without having to go the wrong way around in the park route.It’s a great location. Amenities were clean and plenty of hot water. Toilet entry door for the ladies had no security code lock and the men’s was apparently tricky to gain access.Tv reception was nil but we hired a cable from the office for $20.It was a great base for us and encourage others to give it a go.
