All I needed was a SATA connection to get data off a hard drive. The person behind the counter was too busy telling me ways that what I wanted wouldn't work, rather than listen to what I needed.For a company that is trying to fill a tech savvy customer niche, this is not a great approach. I'll get what I need from the Internet in future rather than give these guys business.

Still experiencing the same problem with my laptop. No changes, still running slow and won't open again as pre service. I believe the issue is more my Internet Service. Keeps dropping outNot a happy customer of Geek Central. 15/01 took laptop in for repairs. Charged $114 for a service to only return it again on the 22/01 due to experiencing the same problem. In the fee of $114 included an Antivirus download. Returned it on the 29/01 for further investigation. 01/02 called Geek Central follow up. Still looking into it. 12/02 finally getting sorted. Additional $122. Total $236 and almost 1 month later. No, not happy Jan.

My laptop charger died and I looked everywhere for a charger that would fit (it's a Dell)I brought my laptop in and the lovely gentleman behind the counter tested the universal charger they had to see if it worked before I bought it and wallah it worked!! Woo hoo.I was so happy. The service is fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly.One of the best customer experiences I have had. Support small businesses!!!Amazing!Thank you for all your help I am very grateful :)

Absolute freaking rip offs. Wanted to charge $10 for a dead hard drive that was going to be pulled apart and the magnets taken out of. I've heard some really nasty things about these guys, and this one is right up there with them.
