Kresta Awnings Blinds Curtains Shutters Joondalup

Very poor service, cheap products, limited warranty. 3 cancelled installs, incorrect measure, poor workmanship upon install, damaged products. Called 5 months ago to advise (with many calls in between), they say now out of warranty and want to charge for repair. I would not recommend Kresta.

Walked in to kresta joondalup, no greeting waited at the desk lady didn’t even acknowledge us being there. Once she finally said hey we asked for a quote on blinds the reply and tone she used felt like we were inconveniencing her.Just off that alone we knew we wouldn’t be purchasing blinds from them first impressions was less than impressive. She did not seem interested in listening to what I wanted she said she would write up a quote but had not noted down anything we wanted got the quote back it was wrong which I expected. Can’t comment on the materials and workmanship as we won’t be getting that far. Based off first impressions alone avoid at all costs. Unfriendly, unwelcoming and just plain rude. We decided to go elsewhere where they seemed to care about us and listened plus nearly half the price from what we were quoted

Really disappointing customer service and overall experience. Would not recommend Kresta or Kresta Joondalup.Was advised I would have to wait 6-8 weeks for my blinds to be installed....4 months later they were ready. On installation, one blind was measured wrong and had to be taken away to be re-cut, another installed incorrectly so it didn't go up or down. After weeks of not hearing anything I contacted Kresta who had no record of the issue. I then had to follow up daily over a number of weeks for the errors to be fixed. No apology, no fast response.

If I could give no stars I would. My 6 months of hell (for one window covering) I came across inexperienced staff, then experienced staff who just didnt care. I finally had a product installed months past the original ETA. The assistant regional manager came out to check the measurements made by the sales rep (which were wrong) and guarenteed they would be installed per my request. The finished product has a 100mm difference in return for each side ( one side goes past the window 200mm the other side is 100mm), and the curtain blocks the opening of my window which will be great in summer. All I asked was for symmetry and minimal blockage of air flow and view. The curtain rubs on the window rail which will degrade the material over time.I was given a 50% refund due to the poor service and the threats i received from an employee that i would be at fault if I didnt allow them access to my home for a 5th time (my curtains had not been installed after 4 visits from an installer after hours of making my home available) i allowed access to my home for the 5th time and nobody turned up.When I requested for the incorrect install to be fixed and confirmation my warranty will not be void because of their error they ignored all my email communications and phone call attempts. I think they find if they just ignore their customers they will give up.I believe they hide honest comments on their social media.. I have spoken to some other victims who have lost $1000's , this is the only way I have been able to accept how poorly I was treated atleast it wasnt shutters or a whole house of blinds. Two of their staff members a sales rep and an installer spoke to me about how they were treated poorly as employees. This was said to minimise my experience. I have no idea how Kresta remains in buisness they must do just enough good enough jobs to tip the balance. Please be warned if you fall into the not good enough side you could lose your money. Consumer protection wont really hold them to account either which allows them to treat their customers however they want.

Do yourself a favour & go elsewhere!I placed two seperate orders for verticals in October with Kresta Joondalup, the lady who came to the house was lovely & we were happy with her but since then everything has gone downhill.I received an email saying the first order was ready to be installed & even though I email & call the office constantly (in office hours) I am always transferred to a voicemail that says the office is CLOSED & to call back in office hours & or leave a message, which I’ve done on multiple occasions that no one ever calls back on. The one time I did actually get a call back, the girl I spoke to argued with me saying no, the blinds haven’t arrived yet? I explained that we placed two orders, one of which is ready to be installed but was told no & to call back in a few weeks because they’re still being made.Since then ive been dealing with Hiba who’s been wonderful but the fitter never turns up. We have now been cancelled on by the fitter multiple times so I’m told February will now be the month our blinds will be installed, that is if the fitter doesn’t cancel again.I would also like to add that had I known that you had to pay 100% of the money upfront before installation I never would have gone with Kresta, every other place I’ve dealt with you pay half & then the balance one installed so your covered if theres any faults or anything your not happy with but with Kresta they already have all your money.I only wish I had read the reviews before ordering & gone elsewhere.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!Zero ownership and accountability for the dodgy fitting and damage to my property!Absolutely disgusted at their appalling process of handling our genuine concerns.Would never recommend dealing with this company!

The worst company ever to deal with. So unprofessional and unreliable. Lots of promises, but what you really are paying for is excuses. We ordered in March and everytime we enquire as to delivery it is back another 2 weeks. The latest is mid August to arrive in Perth. Do yourself a big favour go somewhere else, in fact go anywhere else!!

The sales consultant was lovely during the quote and prior to purchasing the blinds, unfortunately since then communications have not been as prompt or helpful from the consultant or the office.I was initially expecting a 2-3 week turnaround (in line with other local suppliers) as I was initially told this over the phone prior to getting a quote. It has now been almost 4 weeks since I paid for the blinds and have had no updates on when they are expected. The blinds are made overseas. Other suppliers can supply blinds in half this time so I may go elsewhere in the future.UPDATE: Still waiting for the blinds to arrive - now at the 6 week mark. I recommend going with another company with faster turnaround.

Would definitely NOT recommend the person that measured up was lovely but that is pretty well where it ends. Our curtains & shutters were delayed for months & when we eventually got them the curtains didn't sit nicely, they were not steamed when installed it took months to get that sorted - instead of steaming them they took them all away for 2 weeks to be pressed when they finally came back the sheer curtains are still quite creased. Very hard to get customer service after you have paid. No one returns your call. Won't ever use again
