To be completely honest the previous reviews of this business put me off enquiring about a CV joint for my car. Given that other CV joint businesses did not have my particular part in stock I decided to call these guys.Called up at 11.30am and Statewide gave me a very reasonable price and offered to fit it right away (even though I'm sure they wanted to have Saturday afternoon off). The service was awesome, business owner was very down to earth and amicable, upfront and genuine. They had CV joint out and new one in less than 20 mins. Amazing!Thanks Statewide you saved me heaps of messing around and also most definitely saved my transmission which was directly effected by worn CV joint.

we gave them a bearing hub to replace the wheel bearing kit we supplied and as this was a warranty claim I ask for the old bearing to be returned so I could complete the warranty claim with our supplier only to be given the bearing shell back only I then called them to ask for the bearing balls and the packaging as well only to told they through them in the bin !!! the lady driver said the owner has lost the plot would not advise anyone to use them very expensive and both the driver and the owner have a bad attitude !!!

very poor service . charged me $330 for pushing in 3 bushes when we have supplied the bush to them. labour for pressing a bush in is $110 for one bush . I am not sending any job to them in future beware before you give him any job.

Nothing fixed and over priceDon’t trust

This people have no clue what they are doing, I brought my merc viano for repairs, nothing was done and I was charged for it, they damaged my car as well when the lifted it on the hoist . Avoid them

I am sharing my disgraceful experience with dealing with Statewide Drive Shaft after purchasing a reconditioned power steering pump for my nissan with a 12 month warranty.It was sold to me and states on the invoice that a 12 month warranty applies with unlimited KM warranty.I made contact to them only 9 months after the power steering pump was fitted to my car because the seals and the power steering pump had a larger leak coming from the pulley.I spoke with the owner asking him about the warranty of the refurbished pump and that my car is not able to be driven due to the fluid exploding under my bonnet. He had no care factor at all and said that there is no warranty on the part and that he could repair it for a small charge.I mentioned that your receipt states that you have a 12 month warranty on your parts. I stated that the purchased so called refurbished pump" is in worse condition then my old pump and why would I buy something that does NOT even last a year. He continued to make excuses why it is not covered under warranty.From my experience I would be looking elsewhere as this will now be a legal issue and I will be taking civil action against this company.This company advertises and practices misleading and deceptive conduct and I will be seeking compensatory orders!"

These guy's are incompetent at best !I gave them my tail shaft to replace the centre bearing and got the tail shaft back with a huge knock in the CV joint.Took my car back this time and the owner had a look underneath of the car saying there is nothing wrong !Took one of the mechanics for a drive I made it 2 meters huge knock!drove it back in the owner gets his guys to remove it and then tells me its probably the cv joint . surprise surprise extra $250 and puts a completely different drive shaft in the car and now has a vibration .Either con men or incompetent take your pick!Never had any conversation about faulty part. I strongly advise stay away from these people.

Had exactly the part needed.. at a very reasonable price...supplied and fitted great service
