Indian Burrp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Burrp and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. For our entree, we ordered the Burrpie platter and we were blown away by the variety of flavors and textures. Everything was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. For our mains, we ordered the Butter Chicken and Beef Madras curries and they did not disappoint. The Butter Chicken was creamy and rich with just the right amount of spice, while the Beef Madras had a deep, complex flavor that left us wanting more. The beef madras was definitely our fav!Throughout our meal, the staff at Indian Burrp were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two.Overall, I would highly recommend Indian Burrp to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine and top-notch service. I will definitely be returning soon!

Not even sure where to start - we waited for our mains for 1.5 hours, when people who came after us were being served more quickly. Also, the food was seriously off - there are way better (and more budget friendly) restaurants in the area. Don’t waste your time or money!

This restaurant was advertised to me through social media and I was keen to visit on my son’s birthday which I did however we were disappointed the food was good and the staff were friendly but we reached this restaurant at 7:45 got our starters an hour later then we got our mains an hour after finishing the starters. At the end of it all we ended up leaving this restaurant at 10:30 pm. This restaurant was definitely not at all busy probably 2 more groups at best and yet the service being that slow was a shame. I understand that due to Covid staffing is short and all but this was too long. I’ll have to say props to the waitresses and chefs they made good food and were friendly towards us. I would be hesitant at the moment to return to this place if something were to positively impact the waiting times in the future I would visit again.

Went on a very busy night (3/2/23) where the staff were run off their feet but a small wait for food was absolutely worth it. Amazing & delicious! Melting Murgh Chicken was a highlight. Even though it was busy the staff were very friendly and attentive. Had a wonderful night.

The food was DELICIOUS! Probably one of the best Indian foods I’ve had in Melbourne so far. They have great atmosphere and decor. The customer service was great. Highly recommended!!

Delicious food but way too slow to come out. Thoroughly enjoyed the food when we eventually got it but we were starving. Looking around us we could see everyone else also waiting for their meals to come out. Such a pity because the food was actually very good. The garlic naan was light, crispy and just perfect. The only disappointment on the menu was the pistachio kulfi which was bland and tasteless. We would go back but we’d call ahead and make sure they started prepping the food before we arrived.

We’ve been to the restaurant a couple of times before and ordered in from there a couple ot times too. It was some of the best Indian food I’d had in Melbourne. But recently,Went to Indian burrp for dinner. We were 6 adults and 4 kids. While the staff was friendly, polite and attentive. the food took awfully long to come out of the kitchen. The meat dishes were apparently still good but there was only one meat eater on the table. For the rest of us the only good thing was the mushroom tikka. We also ordered the veg dry Manchurian, bombay potatoes, black dal, paneer butter masala, paneer kadhai, and jalfrezi. And honestly, I hate saying this but it was all pretty terrible. We ended up wasting most of it and barely ate what we did only out of extreme hunger.I don’t know what’s changed but you’ll really need to look into it. The food even gave a couple of us a bad tummy.

My family have been loyal customers of Indian Burrp for many years, but had the craziest experience with this restaurant last night. We had friends over for dinner, and ordered food for everyone at 6pm. We were told that the food would take 60-70 minutes. Two hours later (8pm) everyone was quite hungry so we we called to check on the delivery status. The staff member we spoke to said that whilst she had taken the payment for our order she forgot to tell the kitchen to cook the food and offered a refund as the only possible solution. We spoke to the owner and asked for the food to be delivered ASAP as well as a discount for the inconvenience. He said they wouldn’t do that because it’s a family business and the restaurant was too busy to send our food quickly, but we could get our meals in about 40 minutes. We decided to order from another restaurant and asked for an refund with a receipt. We were embarrassed about having no food for our guests and stressed about being $100 out of pocket.Another hour later we called again because we had not received the refund receipt. A staff member told us they were too busy to process the refund.Ten minutes after that, a different staff member called to tell me they were too busy to process the refund - again. We pointed out that processing a refund would take her less time than a phone call, let alone several phone calls. At around 10pm we had to call again about the refund.Long story short, we got our money back, eventually, but the night was pretty much ruined and we’ll be looking out for a new Indian restaurant in the area!
