Southern Shades

Both Paul and Cathy were very honest and helpful to me. I spoke to Paul on the phone once, and met him in at the shop once to drop off my blind for repair. Both interactions with Paul were brief and good. He's a nice guy. But what's motivated me to go out of my way to write this review is how Cathy treated me. When I first rang she was so patient and generous with me, giving me expert information over the phone on my particular blind and guiding me on how to take the blind out of its wall mount (which was not straightforward). I spoke to her on the phone several times and found her to be so kind, considerate and thoughtful about my needs. She was diligent, responsible and ethical in her conduct. The way Cathy looked after me made me feel like I was being cared for by a compassionate and wise human being, which was a great relief from the all too familiar feeling of being just another number participating in a business transaction with a bigger company, corporation or any other unscrupulous private operator. When I picked the blind up after the repair, I met Cathy in person at the store and again she gave me plenty of time and shared specialist knowledge with me on how to open the blind and adjust it to a lower or higher level. She was very polite, hard working and reliable. I was so impressed with her professionalism as well as her genuine personal approach. Cathy was an outstanding representative of a quality family business. I completely support the wholesome family values of honesty, diligence and kindness I've received from this service. Best service I have ever received I went to the Luxaflex dealer in Canning Vale and got fobbed of. Paul from Southern Shades listened to my need and showed me various options. During the in house appointment he was very helpful, friendly and informative. Installer was amazing and so clean. Could not recommend this business higher

I highly recommend Paul and Cathy at Southern Shades. We have an unusually shaped bathroom window, for which Paul was able to suggest the best shape for the blind. The installer, Dom, was excellent. He was very careful and particular while drilling in to the new porcelain tiles and the finished result was faultless.
