We had a great experience with this company. We had carpets installed in our new build and could not be more pleased with the result. Good quality, great workmanship and good price. An unlike so many businesses today - did not demand full payment upfront before they even start the job! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

After being sent the work order 3 weeks ago by my property manager and advised it needed to be done before EOFY - they lost the paperwork and called me at 8am the day before (the 29th of June), advising they needed to come at 9am the next day (the 30th). Was also advised that they do not shift furniture despite my PM specifically asking them to do so. I was asked quite patronisingly if I had a father or brother who could help me shift the furniture - my dad has been dead 11 years and my family are all overseas! I work in property management myself and have many industry contacts. Would definitely not recommend this company.

Do NOT ask these people to do your floors. Supplied and laid vinyl planks 2 years ago. There are areas where there is no glue, not laid properly. The supplied vinyl planks shrank leaving gaps everywhere. When contacted, they didn't want to know about it. Told me to arrange to get it fixed myself. Appalling.

I was one of the customers for the installation of Hybrid last August 2020. After some weeks delay, the job finished with many technical problems! At the beginning, there was a delay for some weeks. Then I received a request for an extra payment due to wrong cost estimation by and I paid that amount as well! And finally, we had a Hybrid floor with a poor quality of installation!There are lots of problems with the quality of the completed job. In many spots the Hybrid is not connected to the floor and bumpy areas are everywhere! Also, some connections are loose!Trouble service!I never recommend House of Carpets" to anyone. I am going to lodge a complaint in fair trading soon!"

Friendly service thus far. Had install 5 hours late on agreed time and looked like they didn't want to be there. The end result reflected that terrible job and took numerous attempts to get them back.Had to eventually get the guy in the sales team to repair still average job on stairs. Original installers lied and said made several attempts to repair and knocked on door i was there each time and they certainly did not. I would never deal with this mob again or recommend to anyone

Love my carpet! Manager is super friendly and the prices were SO affordable. We were quoted double the price at another place. So glad we were recommended house of carpets. Really happy with our experience.

Amazing job! Fast service, polite gentleman and the quality and price is fantastic!!! We use them for all our renovations and always pass on the name.

Terrible experience. Weeks later I am still trying to repair the bad workmanship done by the 2 layers who installed our vinyl planking. I had to agree to purchase more planks from House of Carpets before they would agree to send a guy out who did a little work for us, but, i have since noticed many more issues. There are lots of gaps between the ends of the planks & the skirting boards + there are stanley knife cuts in the surface of some planks, and exact patterns in the planks were layed side by side everywhere (no thought was given to how they were spaced out on the floor) and neither of the layers could care less. The 1st layer would not repair his work and told House of Carpets that i refused to pay $100 for floor prep.....which he never did.....and which he never asked me for...... No one from HOC was interested in checking the work to find out the truth regarding this matter or the quality of work done ...... I have had no further response from the 2nd layer even though he agreed to repair his work when I originally contacted him...... I was initially told by HOC that any workmanship issues would be resolved by the layers who (according to them) are two of the best they have, and there was no need for me to have any concern ! This was obviously just talk ! Terrible customer service & workmanship. I paid almost $4000 for the job and I am left to sort the problems myself. I would never recommend House Of Carpets.

When we went into House of Carpets, we found Kevin to be very friendly and helpful. We got them out for a quote and again found them to be friendly and on time. Then I read the reports online and that put me off. Because we were happy with everything to that point and that they were in Business for 30 years, I went in and had a talk to Kevin. He made me fell at ease. While waiting for the carpet, Nikki let us know what was happening. We organized things for the day, but were still abit worried if they would show up on the day. They showed up as promised and done a Top Job. Luke who laid the Carpet was very friendly and helpful. Will be using them again when we do the other rooms.Thanks to Kevin, Nikki and Luke
