My partner loves Pepperjack so he would give this place an 11/10. Food is pretty good and we have been back twice. As the designated driver it's not bad but could use more staff BUT.. COVID.

Magnificent Barossa restaurant & cellar door.A, somewhat, upscale restaurant with general pricing to match. However, so is the quality. Excellent meals served by very friendly staff. Inside can get a little noisy when full or nearly so. Concrete floors will always have that effect of amplifying noise. There is outside seating for fine days if you'd prefer. You have the bonus of a cellar door & high quality gift shop. There is a actual cellar to wonder through, incorporated in the same building, with some historical photos etc. Many huge & very old wine barrels.

We found out about Salter's while on a tour.Atmosphere, food and wine tasting(which was part of the tour) were very good. The staff - friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We also got to find out a little of the history and a few stories about the premises which made the place quite interesting.Dishes were good and served in good time.Would recommend.

It was fantastic that they were open on a public holiday. We hadn't booked but there were still a few tables free. Friendly service and the wait between ordering and our meals arriving was not overly long. My pizza was delicious. Coffee and choice of cake/ mousse/cheese cake from the cabinet for $10 represented great value for money. The noise was a bit of an issue.

Food was tasty, easy to find and wait staff friendly. Not all wait staff were up to speed but were always able to try and help. A few dishes could have had more on the plate but generally quite good overall. Coffee and wine was good, not disappointed.

My partner and I came here for his birthday lunch. While the food was good, the service and experience was not. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and a plain cheese / margarita pizza was served in error. By that time my partner already had his meal so we were not wanting to wait for another pizza to be cooked and just accepted it. When I paid I wasn't given a breakdown just advised the price and tap card. I ended up going back up before we left to double check the charge because it seemed really high, and turns out the server charged us for a bottle of wine, when we only purchased / received a single glass. They did refund the bottle charge, but then proceeded to charge us for the glass. If I hadn't gone back up they would have over charged me by $50 - not to mention the incorrect pizza which was still paid for and no offer of apology or compensation. Just a very underwhelming experience overall. Date of visit 2/4/21
