Affordable Building Inspections Adelaide

Not sure what other people expect from a building inspection, but after being verbally informed that the building only had cosmetic issues, to be expected with its age, and the report backing this up, to have to re tile my shower, bathroom, kitchen and laundry, have all the roof cap tiles re sealed with mortar, hazardous trees removed, electrical junction box in the shed to be capped (as it was missing and extremely dangerous at the height it sits at), all within the first 3 months of moving in, to say I'm left feeling unsatisfied, is a fair understatement. Especially when the trades called out for the repairs agreed that all these issue should have been picked up and myself notified.The report gave me confidence I was buying a house that didn't need any significant money spent on it initially, this has not been the case at all, I am thousands of dollars out of pocket from repairs needed. Have photographs to prove all the above. This is not a bad review just to bring down star rating, honest feedback from a disappointed customer. Wish I had spent extra for a more thorough inspection.

Worst ever experience.... good luck if you hire this company of two people.Mike is good in getting you sign him but once you sign it's highly unlikely you ever see him again.Worst decision ever... do not go to him...return my money....and i will not spare you for the loss

I found Mike very professional, responsive, reasonable and thorough in a pre-purchase inspection of an established house. Mike managed to get it done during the cooling off time and explained me all his findings which helped me to further communicate with the property agent. I wish Mike and Sally all the best and would recommend Mike's service to my known circle.

I was very impressed at the level of service I received from both Sally & Mike. Managed to fit me in during the 2 days cooling off period which eased a lot of stress. Mike called to explain the inspection not long after it was complete and I received the report the next day as promised. The report seemed thorough and the pictures that went with it were high quality. Thanks!

I engaged with Mike for a pre purchase inspection for a older house mainly to ensure that the property is good enough to stand strong for another 5 years for investment. I am building my house and as someone who has little to no knowledge of the building process Mike and Sally have been an absolute godsend! No question has been to small and they are prompt and informative with all responses.I've used them for every stage of my build and the reports and images have been very extensive, extremely detailed, and helped me bring up issues with the builder that I would never have been able to spot. Mike is incredible. He is so knowledgeable, supportive, diligent, professional, clear and concise in everything he does. I called him for an initial chat at 6pm, sent our build details at 9pm and he was onsite the very next morning at 10am saving me $1500 in my build. This was all before paying him a cent for his time. I have recommend him at least 10 times and every one who speaks to him ends up using his services. He makes a stressful time with defects so simple. Reports are clear and easy for the builder to rectify. His communication is incredible and his charges are beyond reasonable. 7 stages for under $2000 and knowing we even have support after handover with a 3 month inspection is peace of mind. I would never consider building without using Mike and Sally. Thank you for all you've helped us with so far. Five stars is not enough. 10/10. No hassles trying to chase the builder to fix mistakes and defects when it is in a black and white report for them. You've saved me pain, stress and heartache arguing with a volume builder who couldn't care less.
