Excellent. Dr Ric Braley knows his stuff. Did his PHD on the reproduction of the giant clam and is a leader in the field. Entertaining and enjoyable, kids will love it, all slimy and colorful.

Cocky Guides is my business that provides group tours for blind and low-vision travellers all over Australia. On Magnetic Island we had a group of blind, low vision and deafblind travellers, plus a seeing-eye dog. We had a wonderfully educational and hands-on experience at the aquarium. Dr Rick, the owner, really took the time to understand our needs and made a couple of little adjustments to ensure it was a fun, inclusive and accessible experience for my travellers. We look forward to another calling in again on our next visit!

Worthwhile and inexpensive stop ($3 per person); a bit dated but displays have the magic inside with stunning reef fish and clams with the most amazing colours. Rick is passionate expert and also set up the snorkel trails on the island. Kids enjoyed this stop
