I wish I knew about Sarah and the Voice Science team earlier. I came to NZ/ Australia over 20 years ago but could not lose my accent. Sarah helped me to identify the area to improve via both face to face and online sessions. I now feel a lot more confident in daily communication and public speaking. My biggest investment so far is taking sessions with Brooke and Sarah at the Voice Science. Before taking diagnostic assessment, I did not was confusing and questioning about my speaking skill. Surprisingly, in the first 3 sessions with Sarah and Brooke, I have a very clear idea why my pronunciation is not correct and how to improve it. At Voice Science, they do not only train my speaking skill including pronunciation and fluency, but they also tell me the scientific reasons behind. I am half way through the course, but I can notice a big improvement in my speaking.I asked to learn standard British accent, but now I prefer to learn Sarah and Brooke’s accent. I completed 5 sessions with Voice Science. At first, I wasn't sure if I can benefit from online sessions but after my first free 30 minutes consultation meeting with Sarah (she even corrected 2 main things that I was suffering for years in that meeting), I was sure that I made the right decision.There are many materials online, that you can browse, YouTube channels to watch for correcting your pronunciation but you can not compare any of them with the professional tailored service that Voice Science is providing to you.I completed my sessions in an online platform and was very impressed by their way of using technology effectively. Having my personal account and tailored program in Cadenza Suite made me to practice everyday and I could follow my improvement easily- which motivated me to keep working. Unquestionably, getting the Pronunciation Clarification sessions with Voice Science was my best investment of 2022. English is my foreign language. One of the best decisions I made in 2020 is enrolled myself in the Accent Reduction program at Voice Science.Sarah and Brooke are amazing! The sessions I had with them were fun and informative. I loved how they taught me the techniques to produce sounds scientifically and corrected me when I made mistakes (I wouldn’t get these benefits from online resources). I am grateful for the pronunciation training lesson I had with the Voice Science team. I loved their system how they first assessed/audited my pronunciation before training me on those gaps. I had Laura as my coach who graciously took me through every lesson and was open to questions. She iced the lessons with tips that I are easily applicable to real life.
