The Veterinary Hospital North

So happy to find this vet. Ive been looking for a northside vet for about 12 months. Had an emergency with a cut leg on my very neurotic GSD this morning. Thank you Anita and Lisa for looking after Ekko, he's a rescue and has had a rough run, he doesnt take easily to people. I was amazed at how relaxed he was with you. I also got two feedback calls, just what I needed as I worried while he was under. We have two fur babies and have finally found our vet.

The first day they opened they were at my place at 12:30 with an extremely sick sow. Anita promptly new what the issue was and advised and prescribed accordingly… a few days later I ran over our 4 month old kelpie pup I rushed her straight in and Anita greeted me at my car door to take poppy straight in while I got my 2 year old and pregnant self out the car. Later found she had a cracked pelvis. My pig who was also pregnant took a week before she ate again and at one point I thought we were going to lose her but with Anita’s constant reassurance and when I called up worried she answered my questions and told me what to do.I would highly recommend Anita and her lovely front reception staff (Lisa) for anything from large animal to small animal. While they are only new and finding their feet they seem to be doing it super easily with nothing holding them back.Personally coming from the veterinary background I know how hard things can be and the practice is doing it amazingly with a smile and a great care for your animals.. I feel super comfortable to be able to leave my animals in the care of Anita and Lisa which is difficult for me to do.Well done girls and will no doubt speak to you soon.Sarah(human) , Jasmine(pig) and Poppy(pup)

My large Akita (dog) had a lump, we got in to see the vet in the same day, she tested the lump confirmed it was cancer and booked him in for surgery within a few days. She removed the lump with wide margins, we had it sent off for testing and it came back it was cancer and that the whole thing had been removed. 100% recommend, we will definitely be back for all of our dogs future visits.

So happy with Dr Anita. She explained what the issues were with both of our dogs when they needed vet care. What treatment she had given them and how we should give them the medication at home until they were well.

Dr Anita allowed me to do my uni placement at her clinic and her and Lisa welcomed me with open arms. I have learnt so much from Dr Anita and she truely is the best mentor, and Lisa is a ray of sunshine and also helped me learn so much! I can’t recommend these two enough, the best of the best. Thank you guys so much ❤️

I took my bunny to see Dr Anita last week as she had gut issues. She was so good with her, explained everything to me and within a few days my girl is back to her normal self. Very happy and I will be taking my bunnies there again. Thankyou.

My house cat who doesn't leave the garden starting walking like he was drunk so we took him to Anita, straight away she recognised the cause as a snake bite and starting the process of flushing out his system with fluids. Sure enough tests results came back as a dugite bite and he was pumped with anti-venom. Anita stayed with him overnight at the hospital to monitor him and then we got him home. After a week he was back to his old self. Highly recommend, thanks Anita and staff :)

Great service and advice. My dog is very nervous at the vet, but Anita did her best to calm him down and make things as quick and painless as possible.
