requested a design for a load bearing beam, was provided without joist to beam details.when i requested how they would like the joist to be connected to the beam they have issued an invoice for a variation and want an addition $150 for something that should have been provided with the original design.i wasnt advised of any variation costs till the invoice came.

What a disaster these guys are. I engaged them 2 years ago and spoke to Michael and explained exactly what I needed (due to my civil background). Michael went on leave and didn't handover anything I had requested. Got a standard (overly) designed slab back. Then they allocated a Graduate to fix the problems with me, making some excuses about neighbouring trees, which weren't even close to my house. Save yourself the money you will waste on these guys. I went with STA and they did an excellent job, exactly what I needed.

I am a builder and engaged them to do a Bal assessment for me. Months later and still i have not received the final report. Emails after emails and all I get are 1 sentence replies. Only when I threatened not to pay then did I get a response. Then was told someone will do a revised on site check. Again nothing ....2 weeks later after I called them did I get another response for a appointment to meet me on site. 3 weeks later still nothing. Absolutely hopeless, would not recommend them at all. If I could take back time I would not Engage them. Negative star rating in I was able too.
