I highly recommend True Dental, David and his team are wonderful!Everyone is very friendly, professional and they made sure I was comfortable. Personally I was a bit anxious going in but they were very understanding and I appreciate that.

David is very professional and patience with me and my little one. He’s never scared of coming to the dentist. That’s half job done, isn’t it!! Thank you, David!

David was able to address a concern I had, where others had failed. A friendly environment with individuals that care. Hours that suit working people. All smiles as far as I’m concerned.

I took my 7 year old to see Dr Tate and have his teeth cleaned and checked. Both Dr Tate and his pink haired assistant kept my son calm and explained everything they were doing with him. My son was so relaxed at having his teeth done here that he told me I could wait in the waiting room. I had my teeth cleaned and checked at the same time and I found Dr Tate to be gentle and through. I needed an x-ray and their brand new machine was really user friendly. They claim Medicare and private health rebate on the spot and you can make appointments online often for the same day. They will also accept walk in patients. Over all I've very impressed with Dr Tate and his team at True Dental. They are a great new addition to the Gold Coast dental scene.

Absolutely love this practice. I went here first as a very anxious patient and my experience was so good I decided to change my whole family to this practice. Dr. Tate is so kind and helps you feel as ease. My children like him as well. All of the staff is lovely. So glad we switched to this practice.

Dave and his staff always go the extra mile, at an affordable cost.Knowledgeable assistants that just make you feel happy when you lookat their colourful hair.

Can’t speak highly enough of the team at True dental. Dave is amazing, Cindy is the best and the dental assistants (sorry I’ve forgotten names!) are incredible.Was very reluctant of the dentist before seeing True dental. I had years worth of neglect corrected by Dave in 2021. Returned today for a filling and was again beyond happy with the service, didn’t feel a thing! Was in and out. Great banter, very reassuring, lovely people. Highly recommend! :)

I’m so glad I found an excellent dentist on the Gold Coast! Dr David is incredible - he’s knowledgeable, authentic and gentle. He has the perfect balance of upbeat banter that makes you feel comfortable while also being 100% professional and doing a very thorougher job every time.Assistant Jess has the kind of bubbly personality that puts you at ease & receptionist Sindy goes out of her way to help (and is also fun to chat with in the waiting room). They make a great team.I was unhappy with my 4 front teeth - David explained my options (his preference being braces), but I opted for veneers. I left every appointment feeling well taken care of and excited about the process & I'm so thrilled with how they turned out! (Actual veneers themselves were made by Cosmetic Dental Design). The pricing is very reasonable too. Clearly, I would recommend True Dental :)

I visited this practice in a decent amount of pain when my home dentist was fully booked out. The dentist who saw me took one look at the tooth and tapped at it and said I must get root canal at a cost of a few thousand $$ or get the tooth pulled out, with no possibility of any other alternative. After seeking other opinions I went back to my home dentist who had me in and out in under 10 mins to simply correct a delaminated filling, no needles required and at no cost. My home dentist and the others I sought opinions from were horrified at the options I was initially given. The tooth was perfectly healthy. I now shudder to think about how many other patients have been forced to hand over thousands of dollars for unnecessary corrective dentistry or have even had healthy teeth removed by this practice. Incorrect dental diagnosis not only hurts patients financially in an age where money is tight, but can also pose long term health issues too.
