This dog park is completely fenced. However lack some serious facility or dogs. There is no water tap inside for dogs. Area is not well maintained and even the slightest rain causes the ground to get muddy and puddles.Surprisingly this dog park is not listed on the council dog park list and council staff is unaware about it.

Works next door at the gym equipment has shut off water to the dog park, remember to bring water and bags as council have not refilled the courtesy dispenser.

Grass has been established so it has become a nice place to sit while the dogs run around. There is a water tape just outside the gate, near the playground area.Fence appears to be a bit low. Signage could be improved to remind people to clean up after their dog and would be helpful to have doggy bag dispensers at the gates.

If you're going to build a dog park, maybe unlock it so dogs can actually use it? Signs say the padlocks are to let the grass grow but the grass has been growing" for months and months with no apparent reduction in the patches of dirt. Here's an idea - lay down some turf and let us use the damn park instead of paying fencing companies to come and keep replacing the padlocks"

The gates are low so its easy for the bigger dogs to jump over. A lot of the dog owners don't pick up after their dogs so be careful stepping through the grass. The park" itself is quite small

My dog LOVES this park, however due to wet weather, the park is a nightmare for pet owners. Be prepared for a tedious bath time after taking your dog there. There's barely any grass left, its mostly wet mud. I hope the council fixes this soon because I know how much all the dogs enjoy playing there

This is more suitable for smaller dogs. The fence is very short and a medium to large dog can easily jump off. It’s right next to a road on both sides and the train that goes above the bridge can spook some dogs. The water for the dog park is outside the fence on the side of the kids park. So people have brought a bucket and refill for the dogs which isn’t the ideal and the bugs dogs tends to jump their feet inside the bucket and flip it all the time. It’s brand new and the council planners could have really done a better job with this park. Also would have nice to add a little shade area for the dogs on a hot sunny day after a bit of play time to rest. No thought what so ever other than let’s just put a 20x10 meter fence and a couple of benches and call it a day.

Not sure why it says closed but its open. Theres a water tap for the dogs, lots of seating areas for humans and tables too. its a decent sized park and dogs can run around. Usually take ours for about 1-3 hrs at a time, depending if there are other dogs or not. More dogs means longer times for her to run around and have fun. Good location!
