Sandown Park Hotel
Had lunch with friends on a Saturday and enjoyed 5/5 service. Good old fashioned friendly service, by staff who seemed happy to be working and were very friendly.Comfortable, casual dining.Food was nice, well timed, pricing very good and facilities clean. I would be happy to go back again.Kids meals were very generous and the playground had 2 slides and a few electronic paid games. Free colouring pages and pencils also provided.Some parts were a little dated/the curb appeal is a little tired, but I'd rather that, than pay extra for unnecessary decor upgrades!*I have allergies and felt safe eating here as the staff checked and communicated my options competently.Thanks Sandown Park Hotel, we would happily come back again.

The worst service ever.i come dinner with my friend for bday. The staff service not friendly at all no smile . N we ask for the small plate for the cake he never bring till i need to call again for the plate. And when he come he just bring the plate ONLY without fork ,do you expect me to use my hand to eat the cake??? Use ur common sense!!!

Large restaurant that has a number of rooms and a hotel. Has a bottle shop. Lots of parking. Has a flower shop. Has pokies, a couple of restaurants as well. Food delicious. Staff friendly.

We had our daughter’s 1st birthday here last Sunday and Mandy and Robyn were so wonderful and hospitable. Dealing with Mandy from the initial booking to the end was such an easy process. The service was fantastic. We all had an amazing day. Would highly recommend having a function here. Thank you so much ladies.

Was a fantastic place to stay, turned up after midnight and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Nothing was a problem check in was so smooth , bed was comfortable. Shower was incredible. Everything was superb absolutely fantastic 5 stars all the way .

Food: 3.5/5Service: 3.5/5Ambience: 4/5Kid Friendly: 4/5Overall was pleasantly surprised with the meals that were seen coming out of the kitchen. Pub meals that looked lovely on the plate. Some small tweaks on the flavours and being slightly overcooked but forgiven being a very busy Friday night.Service was a little hit and miss especially as we were seated out of sight near the kids playroom (requested). Again they did their best and apologised where they fell short so I think their service will be great in less busy circumstances.Positives are the $10 kids menu, excellent value with generous drink selection and ice-cream with preferred topping was a hit. They also have a table with colouring pencil packs and colouring pictures -keeping kids entertained.Serving sizes were good vs pricing. Great drink selection and specials.The main seating area and bar in the middle as the main focal point looked modern and welcomining, great design.Would return for a family meal - kids definitely enjoyed it which is a bonus.

We had Dinner in the bistro and the service was fantastic, friendly staff that were more than accommodating. The food was amazing the serving sizes were really good, My husbads steak was cooked perfectly, We walked out so full and will be coming back again.
