The Humble thai restaurant
Amazing. Authentic flavours with a good degree of char and smokiness. We loved both the vegetarian pad keep Mao and the vegetarian pad see eiw. Would definitely come back for these dishes, lots of fresh vegetables. The butterfly pea tea was a little weak, but the star of the show was the mango (butterfly pea) sticky rice with mango gelato and cream. Highly recommend eating at the humble Thai restaurant.

We just stopped in to the Humble Thai on our way through New Castle. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious.My partner and I are both vegan and they had plenty of options and were very accommodating. We would have dined in but they were quite busy and we now know why, well book in next time. Definitely recommend!

A fantastic Thai restaurant in Newcastle. The decor was warm and humble. The service was superb. The food was well presented and tasted divine. This restaurant is such a lovely place and we would come back again when we're in Newcastle.

The Humble thai restaurant
It was public holiday when we had dinner here outdoor.And as it was located close to our accomodation, we could see a long queue every day at its door.Regarding the food, I have nothing to say but so tasty and good amount of portion. And my starts goes to food only, but I will explain why. We all know giving full stars to a restaurant is not only about the food.Regarding the outdoor furniture, as the walk side had a slope, it made the sitting on the chairs too uncomfortable, I left there with a backache unfortunately.Dinner ware, the side plates, all came in different pattern, shape and model, and I could see it on all the tables around us. It’s out of a standard for a restaurant.Also regarding the staff and how they were doing, First I want to thank them for their hardworking, and it was totaly understandable that they were trying their best to host and serve the people fast, but it coulnt justify it that they were running all the time between kitchen and the tables with full hands of few plates and drinks. It’s not professional at all and puts stress on customers as well.Hope they can manage those 3 mentioned items soon so people can enjoy their time more than before while eating there :)

After owners response,We were even more disappointed because your staff refuse to admit the error to you but to us. After we chased up the second order, they actually did realise our order was left aside near to the drink area and they quickly ordered the kitchen to bring out our dish.The family sitting between us and the kitchen came and ordered after us finished their food, that was the reason why we realised there is something wrong—————————————————————————Reached at 5.45pm. Waited for an hour with food, upon checking, they mixed up the order. We thought they will prioritise our order but they didn’t, they gave us most of the order and then we still had to chase them and wait for another 15 minutes for the last 2 dishes to come! Food keeps coming out for other people and take away while we wait for the last 2 dishesAll they could say is, sorry the food is coming.

The Humble thai restaurant
We sat outside and enjoyed the sea breeze. The traffic was a bit busy but the fresh air made up for thatThe service was very friendly. We ordered a bit too much food with both a steamed rice and a fried rice dish. The sweet corn croquettes were very good and the chicken satay a little dry.
