Nice ski school and instructors! The carpet up the hill is so cool, and it is easier for beginners to learn how to do turns. We try the private lessons, our instructors Kris and Ben are amazing, very patient to little ones, and our kids are really enjoying the ski.

It was snowing heavily and cold. Make sure you have a snow chain on the car going up the hill.

Perfect area for teaching littlies to ski, my 5 year picked up in one day, the gentle slopes encourage confidence. And the steeper bits bring that confidence right back down haha

Big D is a great hub at Mt Hotham. Cafe, pub, kids ski school, beginners runs, quad chair. Night skiing for 3 hours for only fifteen bucks. The bus stops here for easy access to the rest of Hotham.
