OK. Hold it tight enough to the valve and it does work.Hold it too tight and that pump is keeping the valve.

Very nice bike repair device! Unfortunately it emptied my tire (car valve) due to a problem and I couldn't pump it up again. So I had to walk to the next gas station. :-/Otherwise, great thing!!

many people are saying the pump doesn't work and just deflates your tyre.... this is only partially true. you have to constantly be holding the pump socket tight to the valve otherwise it leaks. it is somewhat hard to do without a second person handy to do the pumping while you are holding it tight... honestly not a surprise considering its a public pump although the council really should do something about it.

Hahah so many negative reviews, bike pump works from my experience. Push the lowest pump hole into your tyre and pull the lever up to lock the pump in.

Deflated my tyre and took me about 30min to finally pump it back up. The next day I went passed and a homeless man had setup an electric pump next to it. Give him some spare change and use that to avoid a headache

A bit hidden behind the Gayip statue. Convenient, it's got a pump, tyres levers and a sort of clamp to attach the bike.
