Baby Bunting Hawthorn

Left Chadstone BB as they were rude to customers and the pram fitter guy. (Mean staff / weird vibe) - Went to this one instead - mega busy and had to wait around a while, but sweet lady helped us out and did a lay-buy/answered all my questions.

My partner and I had such a good experience with Hawthorn baby bunting, the staff were really helpful, particularly our fitter Sara.We had picked the highest rating seat not realising that the size wasn’t going to be a good fit for my small car, Sara helped us find a better fit and wasn’t doing it to upswell us, she actually saved us money.I would definitely recommend them

Strange vibe this morning at Baby Bunting Hawthorn. Although Sarah is clearly knowledgeable with car seats, her demeanour was aggressive with us as first time parents expecting our baby in just a few weeks. Whilst having our capsule installed, she asked if we had a seat protector as though we should have known we needed one. Then when demonstrating how to use the product, I asked if she could repeat one of the steps before she barked “let me finish the demonstration first”. Her tone as she spoke to us was short and her volume loud. She then went on to advise the baby could only be kept in the capsule for a maximum of 1 hour. I couldn’t find this information in any of the safety guidelines published by Bugaboo or Nuna (it’s the Nuna capsule we have) so I phoned the company I bought it from and the advice is actually 2-3 hours. It was a horrible experience and we left feeling flat and discouraged. I will avoid going to this store in future and certainly hope they scrub up on their advice and customer service offering.

Highly recommend not attending this store if you are having a car seat installation. What should have been an exciting first for us - From the moment I attended today it felt as though it was a hassle for the staff to do after overhearing their conversation between themselves “having to do it on the weekends” after I said I had arrived for mine. The lady who installed my soon to be borns baby capsule was rude and unfriendly from the first moment. She also clearly had been smoking either whilst installing or just before I came out as she stank of fresh cigarette and proceeded to touch our brand new car seat whilst showing me how to use it. Disgusting!

Maureen was exceptional! She made an overwhelming experience a pleasant one. We walked away feeling really happy with the choices we made because she gave us the best advice. She was very friendly and personable.We were also served by Effie on our first visit and she was so lovely and helpful too. Great staff make all the difference

I’ve been here a few times and they’re always lovely, price check etc with ease.But today I got helped by Sarah who also fits the baby seats. She was amazing. She made time to assist me with lots of stuff while I was there. Easily the most helpful person I’ve met in the two years since we had children. Thanks heaps Sarah.

Heard mixed reviews about the company but personal experience was 5/5.We were in here a couple of months before our due date to get all the necessities and Maureen was simply lovely and extremely helpful. We left with all the items that we required. Exceptional service and genuine assistance and recommendations, none of the pushy sales and nonchalant attitudes you get at some retail outlets. If we could have Maureen with us to shop all the time, we would.The rest of the staff were very helpful and efficient too. Ash assisted with the check-out and the price matching saving us over $250, while Micheal was very helpful with helping us load up the car to take our bounty home.Left with a smile on our faces, value in our bags and a memory that’ll last a lifetime. Thanks team, truly and sincerely grateful.

I popped into the store today at 3:15pm, first time, Safe to say I will never ever spend a $1 or be back into this store. Rude and condescending service from a lady who seemed to know her stuff but her tone of voice and overall vibe was horrible, rude and dismissive. I witnessed her acting like this to 3 other customers including one she was speaking To on the phone. Buying baby stuff is scary but supposed to be fun and exciting! I hope this lady wakes up on the right side of the bed tomorrow and is nicer to people.

Disappointed with the child/baby car seat fitting customer service. The young lady who usually does it is rather abrasive, making it an overall unpleasant experience.Kindness, patience, professionalism and the genuine willingness to help are some of the attributes which could be applied to improve this.
