Sweets Palace
We had a wonderful dining experience here! I used to live in the area years ago (I grew up here) and Sweets Palace has always been here but looks like it's recently expanded and/or come under new management. We were looking for breakfast/brunch and I was thinking of going to the same Fish and Chips place on Amy Street I used to go as a child. Thank God I tried here in stead. The interior is clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The staff are polite and helpful although we could see that the girl behind the counter was busy, she was always ensuring we were comfortable. She's a star!We ordered a Lebanese Big Breakfast and baked eggs with a red juice and coffee. In all honesty the food did take a while to arrive, luckily we had nowhere to be and were up for a relaxing slow day. I recommend for the best experience, don't be in a rush.My piccolo was very nicely prepared. I loved it. Not too creamy which is the way I like it.The red juice was super interesting. There are things I normally wouldn't expect in a juice, like cinnamon, but it worked so well. The Lebanese Big Breakfast is such a generous size. I'm a big eater and it certainly put me to task. I really liked the sausages. I thought they may be simply be an out-of-a-packet sausage but they were so rich and decadent for a humble old sausage, I was so pleasantly surprised. The baked eggs was very rich and a wonderful way to start the day. My partner is a bit of a picky eater and generally doesn't like brunch style meals so for her to compliment the baked eggs is a big nod to the kitchen. Be prepared to be sparing with the Turkish bread or ask for extra because we can out and dipped into the Lebanese bread that was served with my big brekky.Overall we were very happy dining here. I would definitely come again. Its funny I say this after having not even tried their signature sweets! This place is raising the standard of the food in humble old Amy Street and being my old neighbourhood, I couldn't be happier. Keep up the great work guys! ❤

Great sweet shop in the heart of Regents Park. Freshly made and very generous. The Ashta sweets are awesome and the coffee matches the sweets and pastries perfectly.

One of the best coffee places in Regents Park. This place also serves some great Middle Eastern Sweets and Cakes. Sweet Palace is a very well maintained and hygienic place where you can sit down and enjoy a cuppa or the sweets and desserts. Sweet Palace is usually open till late.

Beautiful strong coffee, exquisite desserts, the absolute best in Western sydney, try the baklava and lady fingers. Currently renovating the seating area but definitely still worth visiting.

Sadly, as of May 2022, this cafe' has deteriorated and my previous rating has now changed to a 1 star out of five rating for the following reasons;COVID-19 protocols; As of May 2022 none of the staff wear masks, there is no check-in, no visible hand-sanitizer and non-existent covid-19 protocols.Service and friendliness; Prior to covid-19 there was usually two or three people working inside the cafe and serving a very nice breakfast. As of May when I re-visited to see if they still serve breakfast, the reply was 'no', and this has been the case since covid-19 lockdowns (according to the young lady on the counter serving).Cleanliness; there were two people sitting down at a table drinking coffee, no other public in the cafe', some of the tables were stacked in the corner and looked un-wiped and did not look as clean as it used to in the past.Friendliness; The young girl that served me with the 'no we don't serve breakfast was not the same as the staff prior to the covid-19 lockdowns and was less friendly, less engaged and less communicative (compared to the team that was serving the customers before). I suggest smiling more and greeting your customers in a friendly tone and manner - this may help to gather more business for the cafe'.Breakfast, sitting down and eating a meal (other than cake or icecream) is unfortunately non-existent, there is no sitting down and there is no cafe' menu, just cake and coffee.Overall and based on the change of staff, the change of menu (i.e., no longer serving breakfast) and the curt manner the existing staff talk to customers, I don't recommend coming here for the above reasons. I would recommend travelling approximately five minutes, down the road to Birrong train station, to the bakery called Golden Lea Bakery. It's awesome!! I highly recommend the coffee, the banana bread, the pies, bread rolls and savories. 28A Campbell St, Berala NSW 2141Please click like if you found my review and photos helpful, don't forget to follow me on google maps as I highlight the sublime and not so sublime goods and services available to the public.

Very poor customer service!! Sweets are not fresh and barely have any taste! Pistachios look fake like they almost have food colouring!! Stay away at all cost!
