I was recommended to go here to have my hair fixed up for a natural highlights & I’m so impressed!The stylist Laura was insightful, asking all the right questions while explaining techniques of the dye.I received the best treatment I never knew I needed for my hair.Keep in mind that although this hairdresser is for all hair, they do specialise in blonde hair.Price can be a bit up there but is worth it for the end result.Finding a park along the Main Street isn’t to hard depending on what day you go, there are plenty of side streets to park on.

This place was extremely expensive and poor quality. I had my birthday the day of my hair styling and it lasted 40 minutes, when they told me over the phone that it would last overnight. I ended up going somewhere else that can do their job right. Very poor service. Don’t waste your money here.

♥️ Absolutely Amazing ♥️I moved to Newcastle from Sydney and really struggled in finding a good hairdresser here.For the colour, I first went to another salon in Darby Street... where they made my hair blond and red, instead of brown. After 3 attempts at that salon, I gave up.Then, I coincidentally met Bianca from Ikon in the non-toxic nail salon" (which is also amazing btw).Bianca listened to me and understood what I wanted. She also explained how she was gonna do it

I have been to Bianca twice now and both times got the best style and colour I have honestly ever had. Bianca listened to what I wanted and added her professional and creative flare to achieve ‘a look’ better than I imagined. I can’t be happier that I found Bianca and Ikon hair!

Bianca & the team at Ikon are absolutely brilliant at ensuring you really get the hair look you have requested. They took the time to sit with me & go over different styles to ensure I was given the one that suited my shaped face & style. I would highly recommend Ikon to any new customers who are disillusioned with trendy salons treating you like a number .The salon is just lovely as well
