The best butcher shop in town. So good to see young enthusiastic people embracing their craft. Last nights 6 hour brisket done in an asian style rub then served as a slider.

Vintage traditional butcher shop with a very long history in the area. Excellent freshly cut meats and sausages in the dispaly and very skilled butchers behind the counter at the ready. Also cured and smoked meats available with friendly service and guidance in the shop. Certainly high quality fresh selection on offer.

This is my go to butcher in Leichhardt area. Great produce and costumers service. The in-house made sausages, schnitzels and cured meats are outstanding, as well as the poultry and beef selection.In the weekends they also bring outstanding fresh produce directly from farmers.

Favorite family style butcher. Worth the effort. Great.Update. 21/7/2021. The cowra burger patties and cheese, home made pickles,truffle and mumm. Elvy’s meat is the star.02/08/2021. Roast whole chicken in kamado joe. Rubbed with Rosemary, salt and pepper.

Been going to see David and his team (including John Elvy) since moving to Leichhardt in 2018. Always friendly, fresh and great service. The house smoked small goods and bake at home sausage rolls are family favourite. Along with the burger patties and more! Can’t recommend enough!
