Pooches and Pinot - Private Wine Tours

My wife booked Pooches and Pinot for my 40th. We have just been dropped home and I couldn't wait to say how amazing my day was.Geoff was amazing with our dogs and had great banter with us, the van was immaculate and stocked with treats for us and the dogs.He was so knowledgeable about the wineries we went too and his wine knowledgeable was top class.If you're looking for a winery tour that is dog friendly look no further.

We had a fabulous time on the Pooches & Pinot tour with our little Rosie Posey Moodle! Jeff guided us around in style to some tucked away gems in the Yarra Valley, providing anecdotes and all round good conversation. Our little Rosie was equally impressed with the treats! If you are visiting the Yarra Valley with your four-legged friend, we’d highly recommend contacting Pooches & Pinot to book a tour. And of course, Helen was an absolute delight to deal with to organise the tour and fabulous suggestions for local pooch friendly eateries.

We have just been lucky enough to enjoy the wine tasting and degustation tour with Jeff from Pooches and Pinot. From the minute we booked with the gorgeous Helen to the time we were picked up by Jeff, every detail was taken care of. Our 2 Border Collies Kitty and Walter, fell in love with Jeff within 30 seconds, and we set off to have the most awesome and fun day, filled with delightful wine, brilliant company, divine food and happy pups. Jeff is simply a fantastic human and just a really cool guy to hang out with. His knowledge of the wines adds to the whole day and it was also such a rare treat to actually meet some of the winemakers and see the passion that goes into creating the wines that they offer. We would absolutely do it again and cannot recommend Pooches and Pinot highly enough. Massive thanks to Jeff and Helen for giving us and our dogs just an amazing day out.

Wow! What a fantastic day out! I’ve been on quite a few wine tours in the past and I can safely say that this is hands down the best wine tour I’ve ever done. Being able to bring my Shepherd certainly added a few bonus points but outside of that it was a fantastic day. Jeff was great to chat to, knew all the best spots and there’s a genuine care in the service offered. If you’re thinking about doing this tour and wondering “is it worth it?” The simple answer is an unequivocal yes from me. I’m hoping to book in a day with another couple and their pooch in the coming months to show them how good a tour it is. My Shepherd loved it too, he was tail-wagging and meeting people all day.

We can’t stop coming back! For the repeat offenders there’s always a new array of quality wineries to visit. If you had to trust one person to organise an adventure for you and your hounds it’s definitely Helen. We’re always seated in the best spots to maximise the pooches’ comfort (and pats). Helen would stop at nothing to ensure they’re looked after ahead of time. The same level of service continues on the day with the fabulous tour guide Jeff. He is so personable your day will be like touring with an old friend, even if you’ve only just met. The venues are clearly well researched and we are always met with gracious and welcoming hosts. I can’t recommend this dynamic duo enough for your next trip to the Yarra Valley.

We had our tour last weekend, and cannot stop singing the praises of Pooches and Pinot. We had the most incredible day in the very capable hands of Sandy (our tour guide). We were so well looked after at every winery we visited - the whole day was seamless. Highly recommend upgrading to the platter for lunch! Helen and Jeff are incredibly thoughtful and kindly gifted us a bottle of bubbles for our belated celebration. You won't regret booking a tour with Pooches and Pinot!We will absolutely be back for a return tour to discover more of Healesville.

We had the best day with Pooches and Pinot. The correspondence before the booking was well-organised, and we appreciated the option to have some input into the itinerary. Pick up was seamless and Jeff was a very knowledgeable guide and took my puppy for lots of walks while we were tasting to keep him entertained. The van was very comfortable and the snack box was a great touch. All of the wineries we went to were very welcoming of my pooch. I would definitely recommend Pooches and Pinot to all the dog pawrents out there, and will absolutely be booking again!

We all had such a fabulous time on our private wine tour. Helen was fantastic in organizing our day filled with wineries, a gin distillery and a stop to line the stomach of course!Bella was made to feel extremely welcome at every doggy friendly venue throughout the day and Matt chauffeured us all around in style.Would definitely recommend to all the dog lovers out there and am quietly hoping I get to do it all again very soon!

From first booking the tour until we were dropped of at the end, everything went so smoothly and was so well communicated. We got a suggested itinerary which sounded perfect to us so we didn't change anything. The lovely Sandy picked us up and took us to the most beautiful wineries. It was our 23rd wedding anniversary and we genuinely couldn't have spent it better. We love to include Cleo in everything we do so this was perfect for us. Every winery made Cleo so welcome and were very informative with their tastings. The lunch platter was delicious! Finally, thank you Sandy and your magic pocket. Cleo adored you and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. Thank you from John, Evonne and Cleo and until our next tour...cheers!
