Wow! What a collection! The staff member who was in charge the day we went was amazing! Very accommodating to myself and 3 kids. The amount that was there was incredible! From cars and lawnmowers to typewriters and record players. To see the history up close was a privilege to see!

Today we had our minds blown by the interesting facts about our rich history of motor vehicles in Australia, from caravans, motorcycles, classic cars, race cars, petrol pumps and not just motor vehicles but lawn mowers, telephones, cameras, and gramophones.I can't reveal too much of the museum history you must have to go and visit it yourself.Thank you Trevor and the team of outstanding volunteers who keep this absolute gem of a museum going and sharing your time, wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm with us.Personally I learnt so much this visit and was truly taken back in the past of colourful nostalgia and how life was back in the day.Highly recommended anyone to come in an spend a whole day with these classics vehicles and the sensational team.

Loved it. Large collection of vintage cars, bikes, fire truck and accessories. My kids enjoyed seeing this and really amused. Surprisingly this museum has one car that exists only here and one in the world. The team maintains them like a gem. Great work!! Must visit place when you are heading towards Wollongong.

Definitely a hidden gem. As the name suggests its a museum full of historic cars and trucks. Furthermore, there are so many different historical artifacts on display. Really enjoyed my time walking through and the people on the floor are highly knowledgeable on every piece of history in that place. Not many, but even a couple of trucks and a caravan little kids can climb on and look through

Went here with my grandson, and he found it interesting because he got to be pushed around part of the museum in a peddle car that was in the displays he was also allowed to ride in the car ride next to the front door. He liked some of the cars and the little caravan that you were allowed inside to look, which were displayed in the museum.

Meh okay. A bit pricey for what it is. Appreciate the staff might be volunteers, but didn't appreciate them walking around with us and talking to us non-stop. Pick your audience, we wanted to stroll around on our own.

First time I've ever been here and lived in the Illawarra for most of my life. What a hidden gem. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. There is also a kids park next to it for afterwards.Inside it is like you have gone back in time. The old vehicles are restored to perfection. There is a huge variety of other old items as well (lathes, irons, sewing machines, tools to name just a few). You could get lost in there for hours. The volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They take their time to walk you around and explain anything and answered all my silly questions. The site is accessible for all, have clean bathrooms and plenty of room to get around. They have a nice little souvenir shop with very reasonable prices.Highly recommended visiting the museum. I was reluctant about going at first and pleasantly surprised.Thank you for a wonderful time. :)

Absolutely loved this museum, one of the best motor experiences I have ever had. There are so many amazing pieces of history in here that included more than just cars! There were old tools, record players, irons, taxi meters, typewriters, telephones and so much more. If you love antique stores, you’ll love this museum. I highly recommend speaking to Trevor, he was so knowledgeable and made the experience even better. He explained and showed us more background on what was displayed which I would’ve never known had he told us. Thanks for such a memorable experience ❤️

What a place. We were amazed at the cars, bikes and all things old. It took us back to our childhood! Trevor, our tour guide, was a wealth of information sharing history and stories of the restoring process. The time, money and work that goes into restoring these vehicles is impressive. Would highly recommend a visit.
