Don’t let the 3 star rating fool you. This place should be rated higher. Great location with an awesome lookout from your balcony. Spacious studio which is kept in great condition that’s neat and tidy. Owners are very lovely people. Will definitely be back!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience staying here for 7 nights.This place is homely and intimate, and Fiona and Chris are wonderful hosts.Every room has a sunset view. The accommodation is filled with gorgeous tropical plants and the pool overlooks the ocean.Fiona and Chris offer assistance with booking any tours as well as airport transfers.You're only minutes from the hustle and bustle in town but far enough to enjoy a quiet night in.Our room had everything we needed for our long stay and were always offered anything extra we needed each day.Thank you so much Fiona and Chris for providing us a home away from home. We will miss this place.

This location is awesome. The view from our room was outstanding harbour views out to sea. Our small yet complete apartment had everything we needed. The service was excellent from the most charming lady owner. The infinity pool with a cool glass of wine looking at an amazing view of the sun setting was the best end to a long day driving. Stay here. Great for couples without children.

If you carry heavy luggages, strongly recommend booking a bus/taxi in advance. Super friendly owner!!! Stay for four nights with my partner. We love this place and definitely will come back.

Amazing views, great place to stay after a big long drive. You don't really need to leave the hotel. Just bring what you need and sit back and enjoy the beautiful view.

We are from Vietnam and have spent 3D2N here with pleasant and joy. This is a lovely place and the host are very friendly and helpful. We have missed the bus back to airport and as our English is not good enough, we have had Fiona to connect with bus service and we have been arranged with another small bus. We are really grateful for her help. Recommend to stay in this place, enjoy the gentle atmosphere at sunset facing to the Coral Sea Marina and a starry skies at night.

A different experience to what might be provided at a resort, Sunlit waters is much closer to a self-catering bed and breakfast than some of the other options on Airlie beach. Set slightly back from the beach it is tranquil and relaxing, and the location allows one of the best views of a sunset anywhere on the beach – all from the pool! The hosts are absolutely excellent and the rooms have been updated over time to have more modern features while retaining charm. I will have no hesitation recommending it to anyone visiting the area.

Forget 'Diamonds are a girl's best friend,' for 'Fiona' is a girl's best friend when you stay at her studio apartments, Sunlit Waters, Airlie Crescent.Fiona is the 'go to' person, to help you solve any travelling problems while at the Whitsundays. She's brilliant! Nothing is too much trouble and she went above and beyond to help us on our fabulous 6 day Whitsundays getaway.Situated overlooking the Marina, my daughter and I had a 'room with a view' which made for stunning sunset dinners. The steep hill walk home from Airlie Beach was an exercise in endurance, but well worth the view at the top.Sunlit Waters draws back the curtain to the Whitsundays. We experienced the warmth of hospitality, the fragrance of the coffee, the refreshing pool, the chance to rediscover Captain Cook's historic adventures, and why Repulse Bay was so repulsive to him!Travelling is a 'multi-faceted gem'. Fiona and Chris polished the experience for us to enjoy travelling at its best. We sailed, experienced breaching whales, visited the islands, and even segway'd through the Conway National park. No other stay could equal this. We experienced the warmth of friendships which made our trip so special.

My family and I loved our stay here. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The staff were so friendly and even accommodated to us checking in early as we have young children and had driven a fair distance. We really appreciated this and can't wait to visit again another time!
