Lighthouse Beach

Lighthouse Beach is patrolled beach in East Ballina, NSW, Australia. Located in between Shelley Beach and The North Wall of the Richmond River, this beach is about 500m long and 50m wide. The beach is patrolled by Ballina Lighthouse and Lismore Surf Life Saving Club which has been established on the beach since 13th September, 1933 under the clubs original name of Ballina Lighthouse S.L.S.C. The coastal steamer SS Tomki was wrecked near the north wall on the September 14, 1907. The remains are occasionally visible at low tide. The waves are very popular with local surfers just to the north of the wall. The Lighthouse Beach Café is located in the upper part of the surf club and has stunning views or the beach and ocean.

Very beautiful beach ,, good surf on the right days at the southern end , well patrolled beach during the warm/ hot months, good walking area

What a place to do a boot camp 3 mornings per week.
