This place has a great range of cards and gifts and millions of jigsaw puzzles. Also a large selection of magazines which amazingly I think is the only place in Southland where you can get more than just the weekly mags the supermarkets sell. They also and yes some of you may find this funny, have the best carry bags to put your purchases in. Seriously I think nearly the best I have ever come across!

Inside Southland near Aldi. Always go here for my gift cards. Has an excellent range.

They have a very good selection of magazines and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have bought many cards here, they have a loyalty card. Which you need to bring with you to get stamped every time & Spend $5 or more on a card and you will find a discount on your receipt to use against your next card within a month. Must bring receipt with you to get the discount. After I had bought 9 cards I received the 10 for free. I use a paper clip to keep them together in my glove box.

I wish they did a Myki top up Staff always great. Not many magazines to choose from. However a great range of cards. Last Christmas they had boxes of lovely charity cards.

Very rude customer service both in store and over the phone.I had found a couple of items that I wished to purchase online, which stated that this store had them in stock. However when I travelled nearly an hour to the store to pick up these items, I was told they do not have them in stock. The sales assistant had no intention in helping me either look for the 'stocked' items or even bother to order them in. Once I finally asked him if he could ask his manager to place an order and I could pick them up or they can post it to me, he reluctantly agreed and said 'Well, I need your details, I'm not a mind reader' as I was waiting for him to serve the remaining customers in the store.Once I had left, I had no intention in going back to the store after the rudeness that I had to put up with, so I purchased the items online instead.I waited for a fews days and had no confirmation of the order or tracking number provided to me. I then went ahead and called the store and spoke to the manager, who was even more disrespectful than his employee. After explaining my situation, he stated he couldn't order the items that I wanted so I asked for a refund and advised him to remove the items off of their website (which they still currently 'stock' until today) just in case if someone else were to have this situation. I was then hung up on.... I rang the store again and was told that I was being rude! I no longer wanted to put up with this situation, so I told the manager that I will be contactingPayPal immediately about this. Which I did.PayPal completely agreed that this is not proper customer service and opened up a case against the shop. Luckily, I received a refund back within a couple of days but I still wonder to this day if they were ever going to let me know or refund my order, if I didn't contact the store/take it further with PayPal.In the end, I found the items that I was looking for in a shop not too far from this one who were extremely friendly and were so understanding about the situation. I received my items within 2 days and have continued to purchase throughout this store multiple times. Luckily, they even have better prices! Unfortunately NewsXpress in Southland have lost quite a few sales on my behalf.Be very aware if you're wanting to purchase from this store, I would definitely not recommend it!
